Please feel free to give feedback on the build and/or guide!!! It's very appreciated, thank you!

And if you have something to share about Kestrel, feel free to comment!! That's all, have fun.

Using the Build Top

If you want to jungle with this build, I'd recommend replacing Clockwork with a Contraption!
This build was made for crystal carry Kestrel. It also requires heavy farming at some points, like when you're building towards Halcyon Chargers or Aegis. This means stealing enemy jungle, getting as many kills as possible, and, if your team is alright with it (I say this because most of my carries take my whole jungle even though they're already 50 levels ahead of the game), taking their jungle. When using Glimmershot, I'd save it for a double minion kill, or for fighting enemy heroes. Active Camo is useful for baiting enemies into a 3v1, or for safely getting around the map undetected. One Shot One Kill has a lot of uses, but it's best at wiping out heroes from a distance. But, if you can time it right, you might be able to Kraken steal, too. It's probably better to do this with vision.

Explaining Kestrel's Ability Path Top

We'll start off with her Heroic Perk, Adrenaline. This is how you will conserve energy throughout the entire game. Always stack her perk fully, it will do you miracles. Adrenaline is CRITICAL for early game, and partially in mid game.

In her A slot, we have Glimmershot. This is where most of your damage comes from. This is useful for poking, teamfights, fighting turrets, or 2-in-1 minion kills, thanks to the splash damage. If you're lucky, you can Kraken steal or rob the Gold Miner.

Active Camo sits in her B slot. This is your escape, initiate tool, and you can also travel the map invisible. Only overdrive this ability if you need this to survive more than the damage from One Shot, One Kill.

Kestrel's ultimate, or C slot, is One Shot, One Kill. This ability has no max range, and therefore is often used as a sniping tool to steal objectives or kill low-health heroes. Like Glimmershot, it takes 60 energy to use, and gains armor piercing with each upgrade, to a max of 30. Therefore, using this ability to kill a hero is most effective. However, this ability CAN be body-blocked. It does reduced damage to turrets and the Vain Crystal, so it isn't recommended to use One Shot, One Kill on a turret or the Vain Crystal.
That sums up Kestrel's abilities and how they're used in this build.

Explaining Kestrel's Item Path Top

Remember when I said "heavy farming?" This is why. This part of the guide is basically an entire essay. It's also where I explain why items were bought, and such. Have fun?

Starting Items

Crystal Bit is necessary for damage. Sprint Boots is there in case you need an escape, but if you feel Energy Battery would help you more, it's always an option.

Early Game

Shatterglass greatly increases your damage, and grants extra stealth duration. This can often save your life a lot. Travel Boots has a MUCH shorter cooldown than Sprint Boots, and lets you move faster. Oakheart helps gives you a little more tank, and, if you didn't build it first, Energy Battery is there for energy problems. It also does a lot for you when you fully stack Adrenaline.

Mid Game

Halcyon Chargers provides a lot of help with energy and cooldown issues. Reflex Block is there to serve as your "don't ****ing touch me" item. Dragon's Eye lets you do INSANE damage with Shatterglass. Because Dragon's Eye starts losing stacks after 4 seconds, you have plenty of time to let your Glimmershot recharge.

Core

This part of the item path is the main part of the build. Shatterglass, Dragon's Eye, Halcyon Chargers and Frostburn allow you to teamfight, take down objectives, etc.

Late

Aegis has a lower cooldown than Reflex Block or Crucible. It also gives you shield and armor, which, to me, is a pretty good deal. Clockwork isn't entirely necessary, which is why it's the replaceable item. However, it does give you a lot of extra energy, cooldown speed, and energy regen, as well as giving you enough crystal power to permastealth. It also makes your One Shot, One Kill spammable. Oh, the joys.

Vision

Flares are extremely helpful late game. They're also better than a Flare Gun. Or, you can buy a Contraption. It gives you vision, cooldown speed, energy recharge, and extra health all in one item!

Defense

Metal Jacket and Atlas Pauldron are helpful against weapon enemy carries, or when the whole enemy team is weapon. If you need extra tank, and can't survive with only an Aegis, buy a Slumbering Husk.

Extra Damage

Shatterglass and Broken Myth will only be worth your time if the whole enemy team was smart enough to counter-build you. If not, Aftershock and Stormcrown are very helpful, especially when the enemy team is all tank ( Aftershock), or you don't have time to reload your Glimmershot ( Stormcrown.)

Thank you for reading, and, again, if there's anything I can improve, please feel free to lemme know! lol bye
