    Big shield and armor items are way less efficient than small shield and armor items. You pay 21 gold for each armor/shield on this item, while on light armor you only pay 7 gold!

    However, big shield and armor items are also much more focused on either shield or armor than their smaller counterparts. Upgrading this from coat of plates gave only 5 shields, but a shocking 85 armor.
