Does Aegis remove debuffs?

If you want defense in a long gruely battle, get fountain. It's almost twice as efficient as this, but it's stats are spread out between health, shields, armor, and health regen.

If you want to block ulti's but there isn't much crystal power on the enemy team, usually get crucible. It gives you a lot of health, which is good against both weapon and crystal damage. Also its active is slightly better.

But if there are 2-3 enemies using crystal power and you need to survive it, get this. It will more than double your survivability against them, and to top it off the active will be able to block their extremely powerful ultimates.

is it effective in a long gruely battle bec in my experience it isnt but in chasings it is so how do you effectively use it other than blocking ulti's and stuns.

The active needs to be worth 925 gold for this to be efficient.

That's insane. It only adds 50 more damage protection than reflex block, and reflex block's passive is only worth 400 gold.

However, if you look at metal jacket, it is also way less efficient than light armor. So essentially you pay 450 gold on this item to focus on shields rather than armor.
