Why a hybrid build?
WP and CP Kestrel are both good options, but have some weaknesses:
As CP Kestel you have no escape once the enemie is hitting you and without the help of your team you can't do a lot. And your Active Camo does a lot of damage but it requieres a lot of coordination with your team to lure the enemie into it. And if the enemie is carefull, they can avoid it. Also it is hard to get your passive going and so she easily runs out of energie. Finally your auto attaks do zero damage.
As WP Kestrel you have to get closer to the teamfight, but have the possibility to escape. The problem here is that your auto atacks do a lot of damage as well as your Glimmershot, but to reload it you have to stop attacking. So either you are loosing a lot of damage while waiting for the reload or you don't use your Glimmershot anymore. Also Active Camo is realy short and it is still hard to escape with it against certain heros.
So, why not get the best of both worlds and get rid of the downsides?
How to build and why?
So the best part of WP Kestrel is that you can use Active Camo during combat and that lasthitting in lane gets a lot easier. After some testing I figuerd out that you need over 200 WP to use Active Camo in a fight.
Because of that get a Sorrowblade and a Heavy Steel as soon as possible for 205 WP. After that, go full CP with a Shatterglass and later a Clockwork. That way you can use Active Camo in the middle of the fight and it also makes a huge amount of damage. You can stay invisible for a long time and you can use your auto attacks to finish the enemie if necessary.
Don't forget to build a little bit of defense, most of the time a Reflex Block should be a good option.
In the late game get the Aegis and build the Heavy Steel towards a Serpent Mask or a second Sorrowblade.
This build also adds a good surprise for the enemie and if you're lucky they haven't build a lot of shield till the midgame.
Furthermore it could be better to max Active Camo instead of One Shot One Kill against very sticky heros like a Krul.
I'm still testing this build out, so any feedback is appreciated.
