-GYTHIAN WALL WILL: PROTECTS ALLIES, REDUCES DAMAGE BY OVER 90%, COMPLETE SHUT DOWN OF MOST ULTS, STUN ENEMY HEROES, PUSH THEM INTO HARM MAKING ESCAPE IMPOSSIBLE.
-COMBAT ROLL WILL: GRANT LANCE INSANE MOBILITY.
-COMBAT ROLL WILL: UNLOCKS A VARIETY OF ABSOLUTELY DEVASTATING COMBOS THAT
KILL ENEMY CARRIES AND JUNGLERS 100% OF THE TIME.

LANCE'S ABSOLUTELY TERRIFYING COMBO. Top
IF YOU EXECUTE THIS COMBO PROPERLY, IT IS A GUARANTEED KILL FOR ANY ENEMY CARRY OR JUNGLER.
1. INITIATE WITH IMPALE. MAX IMPALE WILL ROOT FOR A LONG DURATION, ALLOWING ALLIES TO BURST DOWN TARGET.
PRO TIP: TRY TO HIT MULTIPLE ENEMIES WITH ONE IMPALE.
2. (OPTIONAL) AUTO ATTACK ONCE. WITH FAST REFLEXES, YOU CAN GET IT DONE.
3. ROLL BEHIND THE ENEMY, AND AUTO ATTACK ONCE. THE ROLL ATTACK DOES EXTRA DAMAGE!
4. USE GYTHIAN WALL.
PRO TIP: 1. PUSH THE ENEMY BACK TOWARDS YOUR TEAMMATES (SO THEY HAVE NO CHANCE OF ESCAPING) OR 2. PUSH THE ENEMY AGAINST A WALL TO STUN AND DELAY ESCAPE, OR 3. PUSH THEM TO THE SIDE TO SLOW ESCAPE WHEN CARRY/JUNGLER HP IS LOW.
5. AUTO ATTACK TWICE. YOU SHOULD BE ABLE TO AUTO ATTACK TWICE UNTIL THEY RUN PAST YOU. IF YOU CAN'T, YOUR DOING SOMETHING WRONG.
6. TARGET IS DEAD.

SORROWBLADE: WHY SORROWBLADE? AREN'T YOU SUPPOSED TO BE A ROAM/CAPTAIN? DON'T YOU NEED MORE SUPPORT ITEMS? THANKS TO LANCE'S NATURAL TANKINESS, THE COMBO OF FOUNDATION OF RENEWAL+CRUCIBLE AND ANOTHER DEFENSE ITEM IS MORE THAN ENOUGH TO SHRUG OFF ALL DAMAGE AND GET TO SAFETY. BY BUYING SORROBLADE, YOUR ATTACKS WILL BE SIGNIFICANTLY STRONGER, AND AGAINST ENEMIES WILL LITTLE DEFENSE, YOUR IMPALE WILL TAKE AWAY ABOUT HALF OF THEIR HEALTH.
IN FACT, IF YOU PLAY IT RIGHT YOU CAN 1V1 MOST CARRIES THAT HAVE MEDIUM TO LOW HEALTH.
FOUNTAIN OF RENEWAL: AN ESSENTIAL ITEM FOR ANY CAPTAIN/ROAM. HEALS YOUR CARRY AND JUNGLER WHEN THEY ARE ABOUT TO DIE, ALLOWING THEM TO SURVIVE AND/OR KITE AND DISH OUT MORE DAMAGE.
CRUCIBLE: REFLEX BLOCK FOR THE TEAM. GREAT AGAINST AOE HIGH DAMAGE ABILITIES OR ULTS. (EX. ADAGIO'S ULT)
WAR TREADS: ALLOWS YOUR WHOLE TEAM TO EITHER FLEE FROM AN UNWANTED BATTLE, OR ALLOWS YOUR WHOLE TEAM TO PURSUE A FLEEING ENEMY. GREAT FOR SAVING YOUR CARRY. THE 500 EXTRA HEALTH IS ALSO AN AWESOME ADDITION.
NULLWAVE GAUNTLET: EFFECTIVE AT DISABLING A CARRY'S ITEMS TO FINISH HIM OFF, OR GREAT AT DISABLING A CAPTAIN/ROAM'S ITEMS SO THE ENEMY CANT HEAL THE ENTIRE TEAM.
AEGIS: AWESOME, AS YOU CAN HAVE YOUR OWN REFLEX BLOCK AND SAVE THE CRUCIBLE FOR YOUR TEAMMATES. HOWEVER, THIS LAST ITEM SHOULD ALWAYS BE SWITCHED OUT DEPENDING ON THE ENEMIES' BUILD. (EX. IF ENEMY TEAM IS BUILDING WP, BUY METAL JACKET, AND IF ENEMY TEAM IS BUILDING ATTACK SPEED, BUY ATLAS PAULDRON)
BEST ALLIES Top
HEROES THAT ARE RANGED, AND HAVE KITE POTENTIAL ARE SOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO DEVASTATING WITH LANCE. YOUR CARRY AND JUNGLER CAN ABSOLUTELY DEMOLISH ENEMY HEROES WHILE THEY ARE STUNNED, AND WHEN MELEE HEROES TRY TO GET TO YOUR CARRY, YOU CAN EASILY PUSH THEM AWAY WITH B, AND YOUR RANGED TEAMMATES WILL MELT THEM. FINALLY, RANGED ENEMIES ARE OFTEN FRAGILE, SO YOUR COMBO WILL INSTANTLY KILL THEM IF A TEAMMATE IS NEARBY.
WHY MAX IMPALE? Top
SOME BUILDS DONT OVERDRIVE THE IMPALE, AND INSTEAD MAX THE ROLL.
PROS OF MAXING IMPALE:

CONS OF MAXING IMPALE:
-YOU WONT BE ABLE TO ROLL AS OFTEN
THAT'S IT. THE ONLY THING YOU GAIN FROM MAXING YOUR ROLL IS SIMPLY FASTER ROLL COOLDOWNS. HOWEVER, YOU CAN BASICALLY KILL ANY ENEMY HERO WILL A IMPALE, ROLL, GYTHIAN COMBO, AND THEREFORE IT IS USELESS.
WHY WEAPON BLADE? Top
I BUY THE WEAPON BLADE BECAUSE IT ALLOWS YOU AND YOUR JUNGLER TO CLEAR MINIONS VERY QUICKLY, ALLOWING YOU TO GANK EARLIER. IN ADDITION, A SIMPLE WEAPON BLADE DEALS TONS OF DAMAGE TO THE ENEMY, AND ALSO MAKES IT SO YOU CAN KILL AND STEAL ENEMY MINIONS YOURSELF!
ITEMS YOU SHOULDN'T BUY. Top
DO NOT BUY CLOCKWORK OR AFTERSHOCK OR ECHO. ONLY YOUR ULT SCALES WITH CRYSTAL, AND EVEN IF YOU BUY ANY CP ITEMS, THE DAMAGE IS NOTHING. CLOCKWORK PASSIVE IS TOTALLY WASTED, AND FASTER COOLDOWN IS NOT NEEDED EITHER. YOU WILL RARELY ACTUALLY BE ABLE TO USE THE AFTERSHOCK PASSIVE, AND THEREFORE IS A WASTE TOO. LANCE RUNS ON STAMINA, AND THEREFORE BASICALLY NEVER RUNS OUT OF ENERGY.
