 Baron Baron is slow and once atlassed deals insignificant damage. Use Into The Fray to instigate a fight and Red Mist to finish it.

 Adagio Very slow as a carry, and easy to use Red Mist on. As a captain, he is a little more versatile and will be able to stun you with Verse of Judgement

 Blackfeather Blackfeather is a melee hero with a small amount of poke. As soon as he jumps into your Red Mist, he will be easy to kill.

 Fortress Fortress has quite a lot of burst and movement speed. Be wary of his dogs, but he will not be able to make much of an impact on your play, as he has no CC.

 Alpha Able to burst Rona down before Red Mist allows for enough sustain. Make sure to avoid 1v2s or 1v3s when facing an alpha.

 Flicker Flicker is able to slow you by up to 60%, but she must be in range of your Red Mist for it to slow you. Jump on top of her with Into The Fray then finish her with Red Mist and she won't be a problem.

 Ardan Ardan is able to trap you in a gauntlet allowing ranged heroes to deal damage to you while you are unable to reach them. That being said, just make sure to grow breaking point stacks on Ardan during this time and winning the fight should be easy after the gauntlet disappears.

 Celeste Celeste can kite you well, be wary of her stun and be sure to close the gap on her quickly.

 Glaive Be wary of a good Glaive player. They will destroy you early game, and stun you late game. Try to reflex block Glaive's stun, and once you reach mid game you should start to be able to win fights.

 Catherine NEVER pick Rona against a Catherine. She will stun you as soon as you activate Red Mist, and then her team will come finish you off immediately afterwards.

**I will be publishing this guide as an incomplete guide but will try to finish it quickly.**

**I am planning to add a compatible teammates section, finish the enemy hero threat meter, create an early-game Rona build, and outlining pvp tips and gameplay strategies that should be useful. Pros and Cons Top

This section will explain the main Pros[+] and Cons [-] or using Rona.


Pros[+]:

  • Rona has amazing sustain once you are able to activate her Red Mist on a target.

  • Late game against the right heroes, Rona is able to 1v3 even the best players if used correctly.

  • Atlas Pauldron is relatively ineffective against Rona.

  • Red Mist gives fortified health ever second while using it, decreasing damage done to Rona while it is activated.

  • Into the Fray and Foesplitter are great gap closers to chase opposing heroes down with.


    Cons [-]:


    • Red Mist slows Rona down by ____, allowing her to be easily kited.

    • Once Rona is stunned while her Red Mist is activated, she is usually amongst enemy heroes, and is taken out quickly while waiting 5 seconds to be able to use Red Mist again.

    • Rona is easily countered by teams with a large amount of cc (crowd control).

    • With this specific build, Rona is very weak early game and needs to be cautious about ganking or instigating team fights.
