Since the damage dealt for the 25% lifesteal regens over 40 seconds, it allows you to have 25% lifesteal (instead of 10%) for 15-30 damage dealt per second (based on level).
Does it add together, or does the Base Stat just rise up to +25% in combat with heroes?
Its something that has been bugging me, especially when people ask me and I don't have a clue.
For the lifesteal to be more effective than just plain health in a teamfight, you would need to deal more than 3,000 physical damage while you are hurt.
That's a little bit unrealistic though, because
A) chances are you will be attacking non-players between fights and heal to full health
B) more health means the enemy can lifesteal more from you
C) more health means you get more hurt from %hp damage, etc.
The cost of the lifesteal is also the same as the cost of the crystal lifesteal on eve of harvest.
