So hey, how's it going? It's been months since I last played. When I came back, tons of things have changed. Potions, '?' pings are gone (why SEMC???) and lots of new stuffs and the upcoming 5v5 gamemode. And also, new heroes! Grace, Reza, Churnwalker and Lorelai are all interesting heroes (not so Reza) but I instantly fall in love with Varya at first sight (yes she's T H I C C, but that's not the main reason). She reminds me of Idris, one of my main champions. Seeing her solo carrying the first time, my heart almost skip a beat. I thought: "Wtf how is this possible? What champion is dis?". From that moment, I've decided: I'm gonna main this b****.
- Deals Crystal damage on-hit and chains to other enemies nearby with the cost of some energy.
This is her waveclear tool, beacause Stormforged Spear does not damage minions. But becareful though, like Lyra, this passive costs energy and you will run OOE (Out of energy) really quickly if not paying attention and mindlessly auto-attacking. But this also provides huge multiple-target damage in teamfights, so maximize its use.
- Throws a skillshot with long cast time but long range and high damage. Must checjout Cyeye's channel for some epic snipes.
Reminder: This ability does not damage minions, so don't try to waveclear with this.
This ability requires lots of predicting and proper positioning because of the delay. But still, it is a good ability to poke and great for sieging because of its long range.
- Dash. Twice.
An amazing escape and reposition tool for a squishy carry, without the need of boots. And also restores energy, gains a barrier and deal damage. Because of its amazing-ness, it has a long cooldown.
- Justice rains from above! (And more zappy basic attacks)
A global ultimate that is not very hard to dodge. But this is devastating when used outside of a teamfight. Use to assisst teammates to turn 2v3 fights. Once they got struck, Frostburn won't let them dodge the next ones. But the passive attack speed buff and chain lightning is actually the good part of this ability. Each rank of this ability increases Varya's attack speed and the number of enemies get zapped by chain lightning. This is actually why we choose this ability's 3rd rank instead of overdriving Arc Recursion for more consistent damage.
