Hello there, the name is Jason. I am in the SEA server of vainglory. My rank is bronze got swagger and today im gonna teach you how to play Lyra as a Captain or Carry.
Lyra's Basics Top
If you're a new player trying to play or master Lyra. There are a few things that you need to know before actually learning her.
1.
Lyra's normal attack comes in two parts,the first attack is quick and if Lyra doesn't move during the attack she will initiate the second part of the attack that is stronger and will slow her enemies. These attacks deal crytal damage, so buying blue items will increase its damage.
2.Lyra's natural defenses are very low so do not try to engage in battle alone.
Heroic perk Top
Refer back to Lyra's basic no.1
Ability 1: Imperial Sigil Top
Lyra basically puts a healing zone in a targeted area ,healing all allies standing within it. If enemies stand within it,it will deal damage to them
To increase the sigil's heal amount,you will need to buy items that increases your max health. Lyra can reactivate this ability again to deal burst damage to enemies while providing allies a moderate speed boost.
Ability 2: Bright bulwark Top
Lyra unleashes a heavy pulse of magic around her,forming a barrier of sorts that snares enemies and prevents them from using movement based abilities. The barrier also damages enemies on the inital forming and enemies passing through.
Ultimate: Arcane Passage Top
Lyra teleports to the targeted location and leaves two portals behind her trail. These portals can be passed throught by both enemies and allies. The portals will only last a few seconds.
Playing lane with lyra Top
Lyra is usually played in lane a lot,since her heroic perk makes her used in laning alot even as a captain since she can heal herself
up.it is reccomended to lane with lyra,and her sigil can be used to harass enemy laners to get free damage.
In the jungle Top
Lyra also does well in jungle,she can farm in the jungle for her core items before playing aggressive
Just do not engage early unless its needed to.
As captain Top
As Captain,Lyra brings potent healing and utility to the team. Make sure to heal allies up whenever possible and use bright bulwark in teamfights.
Ultimate usage Top
Lyra's ultimate can be a miracle or disaster. If used correctly her allies can immediately ambush the enemy team, it is also useful for finishing the vain crystal by using it against the enemy team base wall. Carry Lyra usually use this to escape battle.
Clockwork
Lyra is very energy demanding,a clockwork would benefit her greatly and lets her use her abilities more often.
Broken myth
This item is what makes Lyra's damage ridiculous,as her sigil's continuous damage stacks up the passive.
Alternating current
This is to increase her attack speed for landing more basic attacks to deal more damage.
Summary Top
Lyra's overall use is great,but she isn't the meta of vainglory.She is a good pick for utility,especially her snare,heal and portals.
