Who is Taka? Top
Taka is a jungler that relies on guerrilla tactics and weaving in and out of combat. Taka is the hero that is always in meta no matter how many times SEMC decides to nerf/"rework" him because everyone wants to be Taka. If you are one of the lucky people who doesn't land a match with an instalocking Taka than congratulations. You have taken your first steps in becoming one of the best Taka players. The second step is to realize you are competing with hundreds of thousands of other Taka players because everyone on Android has a free Taka. Don't worry, your original though. You have his tier 1 skin, oh wait, so does everyone else. Taka has a wide range of abilities such as a reflex block, a panic button and a teleport. This makes Taka very good a surviving if you play him right.
Abilities Top
In this section we're going over how you can use your abilities to there best potential.
- This ability will be a short range gap closer and your reflex block. Don't just spam it like some Takas do. Use it carefully in team fights and think about the consequences of using it only as a damage burst. That's not to say you shouldn't use it as a damage burst, but you should think before you use it. An example of a good time to use it is right before Adagio's ultimate is done being casted.
- NEVER ENTER A FIGHT IN KAKU. You will have no escape route or way to safely wait for your cooldowns to be done. Also usually people have full health when they start a fight so why would you waste bonus health like that? Kaku is excellent for escaping and just playing guerilla.
- This is your opener. You should open with this because not only does it instantly give you 3 stacks of Ki, but it mortally wounds your target reducing their healing received and applying a DOT. This is great for a focus target as well because their teammate won't be able to be healed as effectively/ Every time you hit them with a mortal wound it resets as well so you can potentially keep it on them the entire fight. THis is also an amazing gap closer and is overall a very good ability.
- This is just base WP and is overall just a good item for this build. It also increases you Mortal Strike's damage.
- This is to give you an edge in the early game. Being relatively cheap and with a great perk this item will help you deal so massive damage to those unarmored opponents. It is optional that once you have all the items you want to sell tension bow for another item because tension bow's bonuses don't live up to what you may want late late game.
- Breaking point is very good on Taka because Taka gets speed every time he lands a Mortal Strike. This makes it easy for Taka to catch up to opponents and keep his breaking point going. Alternatively this can be swapped out for
Bonesaw if you want to play more of a team role or if your opponent is building lots of armor.
- Duh
- I personally like Aegis in this slot compared to other options. If you're facing a team with a decent item compositions (1WP, 1CP, 1UT) then I don't see the point in getting
Crucible for extra health. I would rather have some shield and get some bonus armor from it as well. I prefer Aegis over
Fountain of Renewal in this build because of the reflex block on Aegis is in my eyes more worth it. I can see a build where you replace Aegis with Fountain of Renewal if you become really good at using your Kaiten as a reflex block.
- This item is really good against some of your higher threats, (SAW, Ringo, Krul, Rona), as most of those characters go weapon power. Also raw armor is very good because they tend to go for more speed and you don't want to be annihilated by a Ringo with tons of weapon speed because you had no armor.
Atlas Pauldron is also extremely good for Taka when dealing with high weapon speed attackers. You can just teleport to your selected target and debuff them with it. The only downside to Atlas Pauldron is that is has less armor and shield, but against some team compositions it's worth it.
