Early Game Top
If enemy team have
Celeste,
SAW or
Skaarf - tell your teammates to avoid invasion and keep staying in your area (while try to take the two small minion near to the shop). Then farm as usual.
If you confident you'll win the invasion , then go for it!! especially if the hero I stated above is in your team.
NEVER do 2 people invade in enemy jungle before you reach level 6, UNLESS three heroes of enemy team are on the lane.
Basically Early game TAKA - focus farming and LESS wandering.
Early attack sequence: Basic attack -
Kaiten - attack - (start kiting) run few meters - attack again - run and so on. (Thats right, TAKA crit can be made to kite enemy as well)
TIPS: if you are losing to the enemy jungler invasion, buy 2
Scout Trap and put them in the bush near THEIR shop + in the bush near you healing minion closest to the shop.
Mid Game Top
When you have reach level 6, you SHOULD be having at least a
Tension Bow.
Ocassionally kill enemy laner as they are the most vulnerable.
The attack pattern: wait in the bush (until your target is in your range) -
X-Retsu - Basic (tension) -
Kaiten - Basic attack -
Kaku - wait till your skill finish cooldown - rinse and repeat.
In the mid game you start building
Shatterglass. People said building first
Aftershock / 2
Piercing Shard is better. But not in my opinion. Just try it yourself and compare the damage. TAKA with
Tension Bow +
Shatterglass can kill same level Celeste , Ringo, and Vox ; in one attack sequence.
Defensive or Offensive Top
If by 13 minutes mark, your team is winning , go offensive.
If by 13 minutes mark, your team is losing and have less turrets than enemy team dont be afraid to go defensive.
Keep in mind if you are losing, Always stick together in pack. Even though you're not lvl 12 yet, survivability is the key here. Never SOLO enemy hero if your team is losing, they most likely stronger than you in terms of level / gold.
So
Crucible is good if none of the enemy heroes build
Aftershock, and it is good for sustainability and immensely helpful against
Ardan &
Ringo ult.
If you are struggling against
Celeste /
Skaarf or any cystal build enemy, build
Aegis
If you are losing to speedy
Glaive /
Ringo buy
Atlas Pauldron and activate it after you
X-Retsu them from the bush (its range sensitive)
I hardly use
Metal Jacket, based on experienced
Atlas Pauldron proved more useful because you wont be staying long in the fight; as you usually kaku away from teamfight.
If you are facing
Skaarf,
Glaive and
Joule ult a lot buy
Fountain of Renewal
End Game Top
I would suggest building
Broken Myth after you finished
Shatterglass; regardless enemy build
Aegis or not. It Makes your ult has very high damage burst especially if you add
Crystal Infusion.
People almost always start to build defensive items after 15 minutes of gameplay
This makes your burst effectiveness decrease.
If they build
Aegis; you already building
Broken Myth.
If they build
Crucible, start building
Aftershock.
To maintain hight burst
Tension Bow +
Shatterglass +
Broken Myth +
Aftershock. If you have gold you can buy
Weapon Infusion and
Crystal Infusion.
Summarizing and Tips Top
1. Focus early Farming + Level 6 +
Tension Bow +
X-Retsu = Dominating Early-Mid Game
2. For damage build
Tension Bow +
Shatterglass +
Broken Myth +
Aftershock ( in that order )
3. Never initiate on the Tank, always target the squishiest hero first.
4. Pick defensive items correctly against the enemy which has most kills in the scoreboard
5. Farming in the beginning, focus enemy laner midgame , & ganking enemy team late game.
6. You are deadly starting from level 6 up to usually 25 mins mark - then burst effectiveness will fall short.
7. Dont be afraid to buy crystal infusion right away after either you reach lv 12 or have shatterglass. Almost one shot every enemy in one attack sequence.
8. If by the 20-25 mins mark you feel your burst isnt working, sell Tension Bow and try first aim Blazing Salvo then Sorrowblade for more constant damage output. Its still bursty, and makes you better at long game.
9. Using this build, if played properly usually will win you the game around 18-22 minutes mark.
How to counter Burst Taka (this build) Top
If you ever encounter burst Taka which has built at least shatterglass, get
Aegis. Crucible / fountain of renewal wont help much; as shown in one of my sample match pics, enemy team build couple of crucible with fountain and my team still beat them as my
Taka act as a finisher. So, it is better if you build double defense
Aegis +
Crucible if you feel necessary.
Dont forget to bring couple of
Flare to help you finish him during
Kaku.
Tanky build is a nightmare for burst
Taka.

My advice is : be Flexible, build items what you think is right.
If you feel you need clockwork , then get it. If enemy building crucible you Can prioritize aftershock, If you think you need two defense item, then go for it.
What important is the core should not be changed until 20-22 mark. If you feel not enough burst, go sell tension bow and go weapon.
Be Flexible. Hope this helps.
Update: Patch 1.7 Top
This build really maximize your
X-Retsu now, with a normal 530*1.7 crystal + Whooping 64+0.7 crystal.
That means in one attack sequence you now deal more than 1200 total damage during 3 seconds.
This build is best during first 20 mins. After 20-23 mins, i would HIGHLY recommend to change tension bow to either defense items /
Clockwork.
Another tips that is important, try buy
Crystal Infusion right after you reach level 12. You will be dominating.
This build is all about hit and run, & timing is really important.
Never ever ever normal attacking ppl, you dont have attack speed & strength.
Burst & hide is your playstyle. In this updated patch
X-Retsu is even deadlier.
