Threat Hero Notes
1
Celeste Easy to play against, use you passive to reduce the cost of your Active Camo to dodge her Heliogenesis if needed.
1
Skaarf Easy to play against, use you passive to reduce the cost of your Glimmer shots and spam them when you can. Play around scarf Energy/Mana bar because Scarff uses a lot of Energy early. Scarf Spitfires are easily dodge able with T1 Boots.

5
Taka Very annoying if get fed but as soon as you see him stealth if you can afford it and stand on your mist, if he uses his ultimate on you just auto attack and he will be locked down long enough to be useless in a fight.
6
Ringo Crystal Ringo is really good against kestrel if he opens with his ultimate. watch out!
7
  No Threat
8
Flicker Has an AOE slow, prevents you from re positioning in fights.
9

10
Catherine Most annoying Captain to play against, she has very good kit to absorb your abilities. Buy a reflex block, her silence is deadly

Kestrel 2.1 Breakdown Top

ADRENALINE
Base attack speed up from 100-111% to 100-136%

AS of Update 2.1 Kestrel no longer receive attack speed from her passive Adrenaline, however her base attack speed has been increased to compensate for the loss.
GLIMMERSHOT

1)Removed armor piercing from this ability (down from 5-5-5-5-10% to 0%)
2)Basic attack ratio up from 80-90-100-110-120% to 100-105-110-115-130%
3)Crystal damage down from 35-70-105-140-175 + 170% CR to 30-60-90-120-150 + 160% CR

Lastly, Remember that Kestrel arrows apply "On-Hit-Effect" meaning that any armor pen. you buy will be transferred over to your arrows also.

Starting Items Top

We start with Two Weapon Blade because you want to have a lot of harass during your laning phase with your arrows. Use your passive and when at 5 stacks just poke as much as you want, it's really energy efficient. You get a potion for the sustain in lane.

First Recall/Buy Top

You should try to stay in lane long enough to buy a Heavy Steel, Six Sins, and Sprint Boots. Heavy Steel ans Six Sins provide you with an amazing amount of damage (you're playing kestrel) and the journey boots helps you rotate quicker to help your Jungler and Captain if needed. 2x Potion to help sustain in lane and in upcoming early game fights.

Second Recall/Buy Top

On your second recall/buy you want to complete your Sorrowblade and a Bonesaw while also picking up a reflex block. Why Bonesaw instead of Breaking point? I choose the Bonesaw because it will provide me with more damage mid/early game. Breaking Point is a great item but it takes time to get working. The armor pen. on the Bonesaw is much more reliant early game because you'll be outputting more damage. however, if you feel like building breaking point would be best go for it. Reflex block is a no brainier, use it to block the enemy ability that will shut you down/stop you from fighting efficiently.

Core Top

Your core build is Sorrowblade, Breaking Point, Bonesaw, Reflex Block, and Journey boots. AT this point you should be strong enough to stack up your breaking point stacks quickly with your damage output. Journey boots is great for the movement speed and to constantly re-position yourself in team fights/chase down an enemy. Remember that damaging heroes reduce the 30 seconds cool down to 12 seconds.

Situational Item's Top

As for a situational item you may get another Sorrowblade, Another Bonesaw, Tyrants Monocle, or a slumbering husk?

The slumbering husk is a great situational items when laying against heroes such as Joule, Taka, and any other hero with high burst. so its a great pick up

Bonesaw is another great pickup, it gives you great attack speed, great damage, and the extra armor pen. you need to output more damage. it makes killing tanks and bruisers much easier.

Sorrowblade is another great pickup for the simple fact of outputting more damage.

Tyrants Monocle is Good item to have if gives you 20% crit. chance which can make the difference in a 1v1 or bursting an enemy squishy down.

Final Build Top

Putting all these items together with an aegis make sure you have the most damage efficient build while having great survivability if you play all your cards right.
