This build is dependent on farming. If you can't get your last hits in the lane, you won't be able to reach your full build. With that being said, you should stay behind the halfway mark in the early game. Play it safe and let the minions push towards you.
Don't just auto-attack minions. Instead, let your minions get them down to low health and then take the last hit. If you hammer them down to low health, but don't get the last hit, you've wasted your time.
Know your limits. Don't let yourself get caught out by enemies, and stay together with your team aFter about ten minutes. If you're alone and you get ganked, you probably won't survive.
If you are losing, don't panic. Remember to stick together with your team and don't take unnecessary risks. The longer the game lasts, the smaller the advantage the other team will have on you.
Don't stay in the lane. If your team is fighting in the jungle, rotate down to help them. The key to winning games is good teamwork.
Use the pings. Signal objectives your team should take, enemies to focus in teamfights, where you're headed, etc.
Vision is key. Having scout traps all over the map will give you an advantage in positioning. Some important places to have traps would be the gold mine/kraken pit, the shop, bushes that can be used to gank, etc. Try to put them in places where they won't be set off, too. The vision a scout trap gives you is more important than the damage they cause.
On Halcyon Potions- I usually keep Halcyon Potions until I get infusions. Vox is one of, if not the squishiest hero in the game. The boost that a potion gives you can often save you from dying. Especially in the early game, you should have more than one of them with you.
Infusions- If you feel the game could be over at any minute, buy infusions. They are the most powerful at level twelve, but an infusion gives you the boost you need in the critical moments of the game.
Situational items-If you don't have a real tank on your team, think about getting two defense items. If you have Aftershock, Sorrowblade, and Serpent's Mask already, you should be able to kill your enemies easily if you stay alive. You're not any use if you're dead, though. If the teams are even, go for one defense items and Tornado Trigger, unless your enemy has armor, in which case, you should get Bonesaw.
Picking a defense item-Pick based on the items the other team's carry is building. Go for Aegis or Crucible if the enemies have stuns. Go for Aegis against straight crystal power, and Metal Jacket against straight weapon power. Take an Atlas Pauldron against a SAW or another build dependent on weapon speed.
Leave a comment down below if you have any questions or suggestions. I'd love to try out new items and I'm totally willing to update this or make a completely new guide.
Thanks for reading my guide, and I'll see you in the Fold!
