The most important part of this build is the build order. Unfortunately you need to know a lot about the game to unlock this build's true potential.
Since it's a defensive/utility build, the users need to know what to defend against and when to help an ally. Glaive is already a very difficult character to play since you NEEEEEED to master the punt (
Afterburn). You'll need to understand what burst the enemy team has, when to heal, when to punt back and when to punt away. All in all, you win by not dying. You get your 20 stacks of blood song and do the Afterburn -> Bloodsong -> Afterburn Punt, combo (yes, ult then punt). No one can really react to Glaive since all of his abilities are so fast. The only time you should get a Breaking Point is if the other team is also defensive or you are really far ahead. You can start building an item from the "Extras Item Pool" to counter the enemy team. Try and finish your core items first. By the time you've almost finished them, you'll be able to clearly see what the enemy team is building and counter them. Unfortunately, if your team is behind, you will need to keep your head down and farm. Your team will die at first but come late game you can absorb all their burst, save your teammates (using
Fountain of Renewal) and kill the enemy team by not dying and doing just enough damage to actually kill them :)
I can answer questions and put it in a flowchart I'm trying to make. But this build depends entirely on what you know about your team comp and the enemy heroes.
HAVE FUN :)
PS: this build is titled "Troll Build" by Doer
