But getting the early damage on the enemy carry will be a great advantage. focus on killing the small minions before getting the big one. while the enemy carry is working on killing minions you should be able to get one or two shots before she backs off or the captain steps in. Always try to have the health advantage over the carry, to make it harder for a gank on you. You don't need to buy mines if and your captain have good communication, make sure he mines your lane bush, and if possible the enemy lane bush as well.If not make sure to get a mine and mine the jungle entrance from your lane bush so it makes it harder for the captain to pop it. the first time you should shop is when the jungle shop spawns or you are forced to back because of health. Lane should be much easier to clear by being able to 1-shot the last minion in line. and making quick work of the rest. don't try and push lane to much with this and get your self killed. once you shop again this time being able if lane is pushed or a fight is about to break out at the jungle shop. buy a
Breaking Point, tier 2 defense and reflex block. to have a steady defense for the fight. if you win the fight or even trade. Buy
Travel Boots if you have enough. Gwen is about gaining more power the longer the fight goes, so if the only person you can hit is the captain do it! build the stacks for
Breaking Point to be able to do great damage to the other heroes when you can hit them. the only time not to hit the captain is when it is
Catherine with her bubble up. That is the basic plan on how to play Gwen. Adjust when needed to the build to be able to help with certain heroes, but other then that Gwen is a easy hero to master, if played enough.

Joule, someone with a time to activate the Ult. Then slow and kill with her A. The C can also be used as a way to escape death from a chasing enemy or turn the tide on them.
