Celeste is designed around being an artillery mage, able to dish out damage at fairly long range while being fairly immobile. Your goal when playing Celeste should be to dance around the outer edges of fights while dropping as much damage as possible with
Heliogenesis and protecting yourself with
Core Collapse.
Solar Storm should be reserved for bursting down enemies caught by
Core Collapse or sniping fleeing low-health enemies.
For most of the early game, Celeste should be focused on farming up gold, as she needs a fairly sizable amount of gold to really shine come mid to late game.
Extremely effective in lane, Celeste can bully out enemies by constantly harassing with
Heliogenesis while staying fairly safe from ganks by leaving
Core Collapse ready for when enemy junglers appear.
While her clear speed is quite impressive in the jungle, Celeste's true strength in the jungle is being able to invade on her enemies early on. Able to throw out multiple
Heliogenesis in a early game skirmish, Celeste's early game damage is unmatched by almost any other hero.
Once you've managed to pick up
Frostburn, Celeste's strength dramatically increases. She will be able to chase down fleeing enemies with
Heliogenesis and either force them to retreat back to base or just kill them outright.
If you manage to poke down an enemy hero, you can then lay siege to their turrets by dropping
Heliogenesis on either side of the turret to prevent enemies from advancing to defend without taking a fairly large burst of damage.
Once you finish up with your item build, you can drop heavy damage on your opponents with a number of ability combinations. Focus on staying safe in teamfights to support your front line with some damage and stuns when possible. Just keep in mind, save your
Solar Storm for crucial moments when you can finish someone off!
Celeste's main combo. Quickly using
Heliogenesis and
Core Collapse can easily lead to a second
Heliogenesis on the same spot for a huge chunk of damage.
If you are able to land a
Core Collapse on a fairly squishy target, following it up with a
Heliogenesis and
Solar Storm is almost guaranteed to finish them off or at least put them low enough that they won't be much of a threat for a while.
