To anyone who is just checking out this build (Not intended audiance) Top
I'm making this build for a friend who I play Vain glory with and he asked for these specific items. If you feel as though this build could be improved please give constructive criticism as this is my first build i'm creating on the forums, for a character I do not personally main. I understand it might not be the most professional build or most effective either, but I know it works for Jugo as I've seen him play it before. He has only asked for the order of which it is to be built and has chosen the items out by himself for which me to create a guide for. Anyway with that out the way, lets get onto the build.
A few things to not about kestrel (opinion and fact) Top
Kestrel's weapon damage alone does not seem sufficient enough to fight in battles.
The higher your crystal power, the longer active camo lasts.
Active camo stun can be activated by your ultimate hitting an enemy too.
Kestrel is amazing at searching bushes for enemies AS LONG AS YOU USE YOUR ACTIVE CAMO.
With this build kestrel is stupidly slow so don't be afraid to do long distance sniping or using your active camo for movement speed.
Most of your damage comes from crystal power so with Alternating current your basic attacks do yield more damage than normal however you should rely more on glimmer shot and one shot one kill.
Higher attack speed means faster one shot one kill.
How to start Top
As you normally do, go to the jungle and start your farming. Once you finish the first 4 camps head to the shop and get an
energy battery and second
weapon blade only costing 600. From here you need to build up your speed with a
blazing salvo. With this build so far you should be decent enough in the early game to protect yourself, and fight enemy heroes if need be. At this point it should only cost you 1300 gold which should be easy enough to get as long as the enemy don't try to get early kills and steal your jungle. The energy battery should help for your
DANK STUNNING and the weapon damage and speed will help your consistency while fighting so you don't have to keep running.
Building your items Top
Eventually you should get to your build up for your first three items where i would suggest getting the
Void Battery followed by a
Heavy Steel and the
Six sins. Additionally your potions should be used/gone to make way for firstly a
crystal bit up to
heavy prism and then the
chronograph. upgrading your first tier items to second tier should only take you about 8 minutes if you're not distracted from your role. I feel this part is most crucial as if you're too slow you will get destroyed by the enemy team however it would be wise to make sure your able to help out if and when needed. by the time you reach level 10 these items should be near enough complete
Late Game Top
At this point I feel as though you should have reached level 10 which is where it gets interesting. As you see in abilities I have suggested getting
Active camo at level 9 and 10 rather than getting your second level of
One shot One kill this is because at level 4 with a clockwork you can stay invisible and run about the map as you please and with enough weapon power go invisible during a fight. so to reach this go for your
Clockwork then
Sorrow blade and as soon as possible a
Heavy steel then your
Alternating current.
life steal is less important with such a fragile character build so don't worry to much this early. speed is more crucial as it also helps with your one shot one kill. anyway so with these items so far get a
Shatter glass when you can and then
tornado trigger with
Serpents mask as your last item pickup.
Remember this build makes you an extremely fragile glass cannon so make sure you stay safe behind your allies and use your active camo frequently especially as your movement speed is ****.
