If you are reading Fortress, I figure you might have some clues on how OP Fortress can be. I will add in more details of each of Fortress skills later on but first, I'll introduce to you why Fortress is a really good Hero.
It's Heroic Perk allows Fortress to reach the bottom of the Jungle Creep fast enough to weaken it for your Jungler to finish it. Do remember to leave some health for your Jungler to finish the creeps. After the first Jungle Cycle, you should be having 400+ gold. Usually I have not used up any of my potion unless I come across an enemy Hero, but most of the time you should be fine. Get Scout Mines and plant them at the enemy jungle and near the market. Either go up to scare the opponent laner for awhile and resume your Jungle Cycle.
Try to aim for 650 gold to upgrade your Contract to Stormguard Banner. Similarly to before, get a maximum of 5 Scout Mine and always keep 3 potion with you whenenver you passes by the Jungle Shop. Aim for the 700 gold boots and you're ready to strike. But no, not initiating yet.
Repeat the Jungle Cycle and assist the laner if the opponent Laner is down on health or pressuring him. When stalling, goes down to the Jungle to weaken some creep so when your Jungler joins you, he can farm some from there. The next item you should aim for is usually Fountain, then upgrade to Warhorn. However, do note the enemy's item. If they focuses on Weapon attack, you might want to get your Atlas Pauldron and Crucible out first.
General tips, stick close to your teammate. Upon stalling, just poke them with your A and runs back to your teammate. They'll usually chase and that's when your teammate will strike. Keep a distance, pounce on your enemy when there's an opportunity.
