3
Petal Shouldn't really be much of a problem, simply focus her down first and force her to use her ult early in a fight, then simply target the other carry. Who's got soil in their eye, now?
4
Koshka Early game menace, which is a hardcore counter to your early game weakness, late game you should outscale her, unless she bullied you too much, in which case, GG. Jk, there's still a chance for comeback.
4
Ardan Dad's gonna ground you, but show him teens can't be kept down by crushing his pals /carries.
4
Phinn Ohohohoho, dash out of the smash zone at all costs, it'll deals tons of damage, and maybe even stun you, probably garnering a free kill for his team.
5
Catherine Friend of your mother, but not likely you, don't focus her first, and ABSOLUTELY stay out of her silence, don't get stunned either.
5
Joule Joule can be a big bully, especially when she's fed, so try cutting her down, wasting her A, and attack from behind, where she's weakest.
5
SAW Do not let this guy get fed, incredibly useful to have a hero with high stun capability in your team. He has an incredible early game, but you should be able to trash him late game.
5
Rona Meh. Berserker babe ain't gonna beat you down if you stay at a distance, so do so.
6
Taka Taka can stealth, but your B can still sense where he is, however, be careful and on your guard all the time.
6
Celeste Sis can't hold a light to your actual late game prowess, but her early and mid game pokes are scary, try dodging her novas, and her ult, and pretty much everything from her.
6
Vox Matter of skill.
6
Fortress This little doggy will probably get to your face, but cut down his packmates before they can do so themselves, otherwise, prepare to be feasted upon.
7
Ringo Careful of him poking you around too much, he'll quickly take you down if you're not paying attention. Late game, focus first, unless there is a Krul, Skaarf, or Petal. Go home Ringo, you're drunk.
7
Adagio Flexible, unpredictable, this descendant of the elder dragons can buff his team or himself, making either one dangerous. Run when he ults.
7
Skye These days, we see quite a few Skyes jungling, meaning they'll hit level 6 pretty quickly, if you're not careful, they'll drop their ult, drop their missiles, drop their bullets, and get the drop on you.
7
Kestrel Avoid all skillshots from her, which may prove rather hard, so simply juke her shots by dashing backwards. You may take damage, but it's better than dodging one and taking a second to the face.
7
Ozo Uh, advisory to have a Reflex Block at all times once he hits level 6, which is where most of his ganking potential comes from. Once you see the mark, block his ult when he is dashing towards you.
7
Samuel Sam's dangerous when he's in his Drifting Dark, but if he's forced to overextend to kill you allies, take him down instantly.
8
Skaarf Dangerous late game hero, able to burn down your health quickly, and ult can screw up your entire team. Best to pair up and gank this guy constantly when in early game stage. Focus first in teamfights. Best have someone who can stun, which should be the case in all games. Avoid skillshots if possible.
8
Glaive Warning sign, never overextend if there's a Glaive in the other team. He'll dash behind you, knock you into their turret, and he and his mate gets free gold, unless you DON'T overextend.
8
Blackfeather Ok, Blackfeather' received a buff, but you should still kite around him, and focus him down as soon as possible.
8
Alpha This baby's got a couple of gap closers, making her a threat to many laners, but simply force her to target something else, and whittle her down.
9
Krul DO NOT let this guy get more than 4 stacks on you. Be careful for ganks when against him, and most of all: FOCUS HIM FIRST. Priority over Skaarf and Petal. Back to hell with you.

Who am I? Top

Hey there. CrimzonWolf here. I'm a Simply Amazing player from Singapore, and I main Vox, Taka, and Ardan. On occasion, I play a few others like Kestrel and Skye, but mostly I'm a laner at heart. Feel free to add me as friends in the SEA region.

Introduction to Vox Top

Vox is a mobile sniper with the flexibility to combat either single dangerous opponents, or deal damage to an entire team which is grouped up tightly. Crystal and weapon both can work with this DJ, and he has surprising kiting potential, with the highest base attack speed without items, skills, or Heroic Perks.(Screw you, SAW.) His kit mainly focuses around dealing damage to multiple enemies, which makes CP builds rather attractive for him. Weapon builds, however, are mostly based around critical strikes and Breaking Point stacks, giving him very high damage if left to fight a sustained battle.

Abilities Top

Heroic Perk: Julia's Song

Vox's basic attacks deal crystal damage to up to 2 nearby enemies, bouncing from his original target. This target must be affected by Resonance, which is a debuff applied via Vox's abilities, with the exception of Sonic Zoom. Basic attacks and Resonance bounces spread and/or refresh Resonance on the targets. This damage is increased by a percentage of his crystal power.

Slot A: Sonic Zoom

Vox dashes a short fixed distance in the target direction, throwing 2 basic attacks to the nearest enemy affected by Resonance, prioritizing heroes. These attacks are weaker, but they can crit, trigger Resonance bounces, and apply on-hit effects. Vox's main form of mobility, and the reason for his unique style of gameplay.
Overdrive: Cooldown is reduced, and the weapon ratio of the attacks is increased to 60% from 50%. Recommended for weapon builds.

Slot B: Pulse

Vox emits a Sonic Pulse, slowing all enemies affected by the waves, and applying Resonance to those affected. Passively, every upgrade in this ability makes the damage from [Julia's Song] a little stronger, up to an additional 150 damage boost for those Resonance bounces. This passive only affects Vox's secondary targets. Always max this out, regardless of whether playing weapon or crystal.

Slot C: Wait For It

Vox sends out an ultrasonic wave in the target direction, dealing damage and applying Resonance to those struck. After a brief delay, a second wave is fired, dealing damage again, silencing enemies struck for 0.7 seconds, and triggering Resonance bounces from affected targets. Bounce damage is affected by the amount of upgrades in [Pulse].

Item Choices Top

Vox is HEAVILY dependent on which items you pick, meaning he can play both WP and CP.
[Alternating Current] is a core item for CP builds, seeing as it procs on his A, and his Heroic Perk benefits from it as well. It also increases Vox's attack speed by 70%, which is almost as much as [Tornado Trigger].
[Broken Myth] is another core item, helping to pierce through shield, and additionally, dealing more damage in sustained fights, which are Vox's favourites. After all, if you're gonna throw a party, may as well make it a long one.
[Eve of Harvest] is yet another core item, although not that much required in this build, but since it helps Vox a lot in the sustainability section, as well as giving more energy, it's damn useful in fights.
[Reflex Block] is pretty standard for about every build.
[Breaking Point] is a core item in WP builds, as it pretty much gives you one stack stack with every use of [Sonic Zoom], and even works well with the overdrive on [Sonic Zoom]!
[Tyrant's Monocle] is a very useful item for WP Vox, as this particular hero focuses heavily on basic attacks.
