Start with
Ironguard Contract and two
Halcyon Potions. Next buy
Sprint Boots to help you move from lane to jungle more quickly, and to help escape enemies before you get more tanky. As soon as you can get
Contraption because it will get you early and late game vision without having to continuously buy scout traps. Also, you should be able to get it around when mining begins so start placing those traps around mines. Shortly after, buy
Travel Boots since they grant much more move speed when not in combat and the reduced cooldown is useful too. Next, build toward
Crucible because of the hefty health boost, and the reflex block ability. Enemies and allies will be getting their ultimate so around this time, and
Crucible is very useful for countering a lot of enemy ults. After this,
Shiversteel will be a nice addition to your arsenal of activations. You and your allies will be getting more powerful, and
Shiversteel is a very effective way of catching fleeing enemy heroes. Warhorn has a similar effect, but it is not quite as good at catching enemies. It does, however, have more utility. For example, you may need to run away yourself, but don't have your boots ready. There are many situations like this where Warhorn has other uses too. After Warhorn or before Warhorn, buy another defensive item. Depending on the enemy team, you may want a different item. If a
Krul or
Rona is has become too powerful and is a problem for your team, get
Atlas Pauldron. If
Ringo or
Skye is a problem, buy
Metal Jacket. If an enemy built crystal, get a shield item. I think by now you probably get the point. When you have finished your build or want to finish the game in one more lane push, don't forget to buy your infusions.
Weapon Infusion and
Crystal Infusion are both strong on
Ardan. Now, stop reading this and go play some VainGlory!
