Prioritize health early. Once you have at least a
Dragon Heart, buy a
Light Shield. This will make your investment in health more worthwhile.
Don't forget to purchase
boots early on too.
I take a
Swift Shooter early game to add a little more damage and it will help keep
Shiversteel always procced on my target or two different targets.
If energy is not an issue for you, you can skip the
Energy Battery. I take one because I seem to always run out of energy during fights and become useless, so I usually take a
Void Battery mid-game where fights are more likely.
I used to build the
Void Battery into an
Eve of Harvest, but
Clockwork is cheaper and the lower CD is nice. If you decide to go the
Eve of Harvest path, you do not need to upgrade the
Kinetic Shield until later to an
Aegis or not at all. You will still need to defensive stats, so do not skip the
Light Shield early game.
At full build, you can 1v1 duel people. It's surprising at the damage you can dish out while
Breaking Point stacks.
Always have at least two slots empty for consumables. As Roam, you need to help place Scout Traps or use Flares. Late game, you're more useful being a scary tank. That is why you build your
Contract into a
Contraption.
At lower skill tiers, I may max my
Stun (5) and
Bubble (5) and leave the
Silence at Level 2 for fun. This allows you to destroy carries since the stun is even longer. If the enemy team has a spam caster such as
Celeste though, maxing the silence is always better for your team.
Try it out :)
