Sup. It's ducksgoquack. Bit of bio, level 24, Simply Amazing gold, NA. I started playing back in about the release of Blackfeather, then quit and then started playing again in about the beginning of the Summer season. Taka, Ardan, and Celeste are my mains. I'm practicing and can play WP Kestrel, CP Ringo, Catherine, CP SAW, and CP VOX. Yum. Also, I'm too lazy to hyperlink and split this into seperate chapters. :)
I play mostly without boots and that can seem odd to some. (The only time I build boots is with someone who need energy and build those new black boots which i forgot the name of.) Also, you may be thinking, why not a Tension Bow/Aftershock based build? Cause I don't like it. Deal with it, brotha. The main point of this taka build is to get in and get out. X Retsu the carry, A over them, and stutterstep along with them as they try to run away. EZ. Then attack the next priority target until you get low on health. Box and follow them, don't attack until your box runs out. The heal is important. Now, if you're losing the teamfight, just box away.
The right way to box: when you box, act like youre going one way but go the opposite. If you are in a high skill tier, go the same way. Reverse Psychology FTW. Um, buy only one Potion in the beginning. With the new Roaming method (thanks Shin) make sure you tank it. Wait to use your halcyon potion until you encounter and fight your first enemies or if you are low. Its heal is pretty good in the beginning. Taka's A is a powerful ability, defensive and offensive. It blocks all negative effects, even damage. Time it and don't waste it. Don't upgrade any abilities on your 5th level. Wait until your 6th level and upgrade your ult and a. Also, MAKE SURE YOU COUNTERBUILD!! Taka is just fragile, man. Honestly the biggest threat would be a Krul, Baron, or Reim. They probably won't get the kill but be careful if they have flares. Crit Ardan and Glaive are pretty damn dangerous as well. Lances are the most annoying roam IMO.
