Rydor1 here bringing you another one of my guides. This one will be on
Taka. What I love about
Taka is that he can be built in so many different ways. Especially now in 1.7, he can be built
WP,
CP,
tanky, and anywhere in between. As a result, this build is a very loose idea of what you could build. I have given you many options to choose from. There is no single best build with
Taka. There are only builds that are better situationally. This build takes advantage of counterbuilding, so know how to do so when leaving for the Fold. If you don't know how to counterbuild, luckily I'm gonna tell you. Have fun reading!
My other guides:

Koshka: Krazy Killer Kitty
Krul: Might of the Smite

An all
CP team will beat an all
WP team 99.999999999999% of the time. If you are facing an all
WP team, build
CP. If you are facing an all
CP team, build a lot more
defense early. If you are facing multiple
tanks, build
WP. If you are facing a mixed
CP and
WP team, watch for the
defense items they build, or lack thereof. If the carries don't have any
defense by the time you have to make your choice AND your laner is building
WP, build
CP. It might take a lot of memorization, but this is how I decide between building
CP or
WP.
Each
defense item has a different purpose.
Aegis and
Fountain of Renewal counter
CP,
Atlas Pauldron and
Metal Jacket counter
WP, and
Crucible is a balanced, all-purpose item. If you are facing
CP,
tanky>
CP so build a lot of
defense early such as
Fountain of Renewal,
Aegis, and
Crucible. If you are facing
WP,
CP>
WP so build
Atlas Pauldron or
Crucible, but focus more on
CP. If you are facing mixed or
tanks, build
Crucible and lean more towards
WP.
