Roam Krul is a very powerful build centred around using defence and either CP or WP to peel the enemies and elimate key targets. Usually, you want to shut down the enemy jungler or laner by stunning the enemy with your sword from a long range.
You need to play aggresively early game and take advantage of how powerful spectral smite is in the early game. You need to steal your enemies' farm and take key objectives. This is essential to give your team the lead so that you don't fall off late game.
Play CP when an allied carry is building WP. This is so that your opponent can't counter-build against you easily. With CP, you usually have the choice of either building
Blazing Salvo into
Alternating Current or building
Aftershock. This is up to you, whether you consider a more defensive or aggresive playstyle is more suitable for the game. If your opponents are low mobility heroes, choose
Alternating Current. Choose
Aftershock if your enemies are mobile, for example
Blackfeather. You are extremely powerful once you get a full build shown above, as you can stick to an enemy and smite for ridiculous amounts of damage as the fight goes on.
Play WP when an allied carry is building CP, also for counter-building purposes. You want to build
Tornado Trigger,
Bonesaw or some sort of WP to peel the enemy, making you a dangerous force to be reckoned with. You want to focus the most immobile of the enemy carries and tank their damage. Meanwhile, your allies wouldn't be targeted so much and are able to help finish off the enemy as quickly as possible. Yo also need to use your item actives dring team fights, to protect you and your team mates from some deadly cc.
