 Catherine You're bound to win a 1v1 and if she stuns you it just helps your jungler kill hers. Plus after your stun is up you can stun her jungler. May the person with the best teammate win? She's not one only because you by yourself and her with her team is a bad situation.

 Koshka She's not a huge threat, but don't underestimate her. If the player will fall for it lure them into your jungle then run and when your stun is up use it. Continue this cycle until she's low, she'll want to run then. If you have a good team member to secure the kill then it's pretty easy.

 Ringo Kiting is your enemy. Don't let him fool you. Your stun is not to be used lightly against him. He can easily A you and then B you to do huge damage.

 Taka He's not that much worse than Koshka except his box. Just time your stuns and your flares.

 Vox Vox can jump and maneuver super fast. If you don't have boots and Merciless Pursuit him then you're not going to always get that stun. Plus he does huge damage while he jumps away. Watch out!

   No Threat

 Celeste She's not a threat damage wise unless you're caught off guard or don't have enough shield. Her main thing is flares and that's a HUGE disadvantage for Catherine. Use bushes that are less used against Celeste. If you plan to gank do it fast!

 SAW Shanks, shanks, and more shanks. SAW can easily slow you and do heavy damage with his A ability alone. His shank will just aid him in getting out of there and doing more damage. When does it end? An upside to this is that the shank is high enough in damage to be blocked by your shield!

 Krul Do not 1v1 him and you will be fine. Worst thing that could happen is he gets a smite down on you. Even then your shield can reflect the damage. Be ready to stun when team fights happen. Disabling him from getting stacks is huge.

 Adagio His A ability will just tick health away piece by piece. His B will just aid him or a team mate secure the kill. What a sad conclusion.

Build explanation Top

Catherine Is a strong character if you utilize what's important. This build is for medium to low ELO players. It's important to understand that Sorrowblade and Tornado Trigger are for late game ONLY! They are completely optional and out for those who would like to do damage while tanking. (We'll go over that in another chapter) If you would like to instead use one of the items on the late game item build that is totally fine. Now, let the explanation begin!

Merciless Pursiuit, Why So Much Damage? Top

After you have obtained Tension Bow and Aftershock you should be doing chunks of damage to the enemy team. Not enough to be seriously worrisome but enough to help your team kill them fast. You may have a tiny problem with energy before you get clockwork if you're not wise so be careful! If you choose to use Sorrowblade and Tornado Trigger then don't engage until your whole team is there. Once everyone is ready swerve in towards someone who does high damage. (EX: Taka, Krul, Ringo) Once they're stunned don't run away and let your team do damage you have everything you need to kill them on the spot so just keep attacking.

A Tank Without Tank Items. Top

As you know, Catherine has a Heroic Perk that allows her to gain Armor every Merciless Pursuit. An update has allowed her to get both Sheild and Armor every stun therefore benefiting her even more. In order for the Sorrowblade and Tornado Trigger to work you MUST get at least 20 stacks on your perk. The more the better.
