From the moment you get in the jungle no one is a threat one on one, no one not even the kranken. Yes you heard me right, in the jungle 1v1 this is invincible. You will be at full health or close to it through all of your 1v1 fights because of your insane lifesteal and Dpm. Only take on two alone if they are at low health and don't both stun. Any two players will take you out if you don't have all items maxed and a full metaljacket. Once you get in the jungle farm, get ahead stay ahead and you will be invincible. If there are two opposing junglers that will not separate abandon this build, it's worthless. I typically try the boots with tornado trigger, breaking point, and three defensive items to make up for my squishyness.
The idea and tactics, This build is designed to dominate 1v1. How I play this build is look at the number of jungle to lane players the other team has. If there should be one lane and two jungle I go to the minion just my side of the gold mine, hit him with spectral smite(SS), get the two next to the shop and try and get my second atk speed before fighting. If only one player goes jungle, watch lane to confirm, I run to the farm just past the gold mine, I prefer this one since a typical player goes to their first one and I can sit in the bush next to the gold mine and watch them taking on the double farm. Wait for my passive to charge and attack right before they kill the first one. At this point they should have a low health and you will be at max and it will be three on one. No one survives this tatic. You can then clean out all their farms and even finish off anyone who decided to help from lane since they frequently show up just in time to take turns. You won't get an ace but I will frequently get three kills and clean out all their farms right off the bat and this normally will seal the game. When I'm starting I do not get any consumables, maybe one scout trap if I think I can make it to the farthest entrance or a flare to counter taka at level 3 and on. The additional gold cost will kill this build and you can't afford even the smallest splurge.
Using abilities and farming, Farm, farm, farm! This is an expensive build and you can't waiste the time to get irongaurd contract. I frequently will ignore slight strategic goals early to farm. It will win you the end game. Never walk past a farm. Watch the lane to know when the opposing jungler is alone and go get him. If it's taka you need flares. Move from bush to bush and always wait three seconds before attacking it will seal the kill. When you attack you have a natural life steal that will heal you as fast as you are taking damage, as soon as they realise this and go to run, Dead Mans Rush(DMR) will allow you to catch your opponent and SS will normally finish the job. Boots are important for securing the kill and getting out of ganks. I have even done a second boot just for the double actives it is that important to be faster or the same as your opponent. Watch the score board to make sure you have the same or better boots. If for whatever reason you know you are slower you will not escape so stay and fight. Every hit you land adds a second to your life and who knows a teammate might make it in time to clean up. Use From Hells Heart(HH) to slow someone so you can escape or stop an ult, the slow cool down makes me hesite to use it to secure a kill unless I know that I will not be needing to stop an ult or escape.
Team fights, Ovid them unless you initiate. Your team will hate you if can't explain but run first then come back. Try to start in a bush ping the first target, the squishy, attack watch when they are about to get out of your slow and hit DMR at this point your counter on SS will be full or close and I ativate right after DMR which will kill them and put you at full health even if you were the main target. This creates a three on two which will almost always get you the ace. If you didn't heal enough on activating SS run! Typically the other team will attempt to follow you allowing your team to kite them. As soon as they stop following jump into a bush wait three seconds and repeat unless you ran long enough that you have DMR then I would just turn ativate both or all three abilities and secure the win.
The Kranken, is a lot of fun because with proper farming you can solo the kranken with this build at 15 minutes in. Yes, I just said as soon as the kraken is free I will solo him. Now I typically wait for my team to get a good push in the lane so that they will be preoccupied and notice and try to help. As long as both are pushing lane no one will think that someone could be taking on the kraken and if I have two good laners it's normal for the match to end by 16 minutes flat. A scout mine in the bush is a necessity. If someone approaches run. You can not take on two. If it's so close that they would just finish him throw your HH to hold him off and SS to finish the kranken. If you decided to stay to not stop attacking the kraken until he is yours. It's better to die right after then to let them get him.
Core items, start with a swift shooter and maybe a scout trap, I normally pick one up from the shop before pushing deep. Next purchase is two more, then a pair of boots. The swift shooters keep you alive only if you can't land attacks so grab boots before or upgrade them when you can't keep up. I might get a weapon blade before getting three blasing salvos, but normally don't. Then it's heavy steal, barbed needle. I might get a tornado trigger or serpents mask first it depends on how effective my hits are. Always max out serpents mask boot and your first tornado trigger before getting the next two, which you must get before you get your final item.
Alt final item, I like full metal jacket since it makes your lifesteal more valueable, reduces your squishyness, makes it so you can take some hits while running away. This is my go to. Tyrants M. Makes it so you are at 90% ctrit, 140% additional crit damage, and boosts your attack speed. This is the best Dpm option and I'll use this when I have a ton of gold and/or I have a good tank to shield me in team fights or if they tend to attack someone else first for whatever reason. Break point I use to counter another Krul with a speed build and I may swap it out with a tornado trigger earlier to even out the fight and if he has a tornado and breakpoint it's a must, your fights will take to long and it will be decided by who's help arrives first. Tension bow is to counter koshka so you kill her before her movement speed gets up to high and you won't be able to stick to her. Aegis is only if the entire opposing team went crystal carry build and krul koshka and tanka are not on the other team. I almost never come across this situation but when I do this is the best. If you are countering taka and need flares or just prefer consumables, I would just buy the infusion consumables and keep three flares, that's normally how many I use per run. If the match goes so long so that you have filled everything and you have 3 k in gold, yes I had this happen once when I a team mate went afk, I'll sell off my cheapest piece, typically my boots requiring 2900 gold total, and ativate both consumibales and buy them back, repeat every three minutes.
Scout traps, I don't like using a lot of them and I'll always put one on the gold mine at some point, also three steps inside of your opponents jungle interance will almost never get stepped on and will give you exactly anytime someone enters the jungle. Also the jungle side of the rocks lining the lane will normally not be stepped on unless they are running away, which is sometimes nice, and is amazing for total map understanding even if you can't see it. I would never buy more then five total and that is pushing it. You need the gold for your build its expensive.
I'm skill Teri not bad, karma level 20 with 207 wins. I play sporadically and I am normally experimenting with weird ideas I get. I am always interested in new ideas and critiques.
