Double Shot -
Silvernail loads an extra bolt into his crossbow which can be expended to
chain a follow-up basic attack, dealing damage. The availability of
Double Shot is shown by the white bar underneath his energy.
• Attack speed reduces load time.
- Early on, this gives
Silvernail the ability to bully out laners, and if he gets to lategame he'll hit extremely hard with it.
- Whenever this is up, look for an opportunity to hit your opponent.
- Because this also scales with
attack speed, it makes buying
Tornado Trigger even more valuable as it helps him kite + deal more damage more often.
Stake - When
Silvernail activates his first ability, he
plants a Stake into the ground that can
form a tripwire between any other nearby Stakes. This means that
Silvernail can create tripwires in all kinds of configurations in order to best suit the battle at a given time.
Enemy heroes that cross through tripwires are
briefly slowed, silenced and take damage over time. These tripwires will also
block dashes.
- With this ability
Silvernail is able to control the lane and play safely. I would recommend keeping at least one
Stake in a bush nearby as to prepare for ganks or chases.
- As good as this ability is, do not constantly throw
Stakes everywhere as his energy will drain very quickly.
- This ability is not being overdrived because as a
WP Carry, this mostly provides utility and is not our main source of damage.
Caustic Blessing -
Silvernail’s
Caustic Blessing lobs a flask that deals damage in an area and
reveals enemies hit for a short period of time.
- Refreshes
Double Shot upon casting.
- This can be used to push waves, check bushes, and harass the enemy laner with some poke since the initial damage scales off of 100% WP.
- This ability is being maxed so we can refresh our
Double Shot more often to keep dealing damage.
Rebuke - Fires a piercing bolt that deals damage and
impales every enemy in its path. Those struck by the bolt are dragged along the path and are
stunned if they collide into a wall, structure or tripwire.
- This is a skillshot and not a point-and-click ability.
- With your
Stakes, keep one near you so you can push enemies back into
Tripwires for stuns.
- This can also be used to
peel enemies off of you so create distance.
Sorrowblade -
Silvernail really needs
pure WP for his
Double Shot to hit hard, so getting a
Sorrowblade as a first item makes him extremely powerful.
Breaking Point - Almost always too good to pass up on. With how well
Silvernail can kite and stay in teamfights, he can use this very well to build up stacks and deal more damage.
Tyrant's Monocle +
Tornado Trigger - With
Silvernail's 6.4 range and 3.5 speed, building crit will make him even better at kiting and building up
Breaking Point stacks.
Spellsword - Though I wouldn't recommend it personally, it's a good choice if you want to be able to have energy and CDR to help in teamfights more often by having your
Stakes up.
