Krul is one of the strongest hero in the game, if you know how to use him effectively, he will be a monster. Krul heroic perk is
Shadows Empower Me, this heroic perk allow Krul to whenever he stay still in a bush for 1.5 seconds, he will have 2 extra run speed for a few seconds, when you still have the
Shadows Empower Me, you hit someone and they are slow, this is very good for gank. Krul first ability is
Dead Man's Rush, this ability will allow krul to stay in fight alot longer because of the barrier, I suggest upgrading this ability second and taking it overdrive first unless you want to play safely and overdrive the second ability for the extra heal, but my build is WP so overdriving the A will be better. Krul second ability is
Spectral Smite, if you have this ability, whenever you hit something, on their head will have stacks, the more stacks you have on their head the more damage you deal to them, the more life steal you have, you will make them weaker, you will even make them hit slower, and the cool thing about this is that the more stacks you have on their head,
Spectral Smite will deals more damage, if you overdrive this ability, it will deals like 900 damage. Krul ultimate is
From Hell's Heart, when activate this ability, you will throw a sword, if it hit someone, they will get stun and take damage, if you throw miss the first time, when it come back and it hit someone, this ability will make your enemy stun even longer and deals more damage, I would not recommend overdrive this ability in any case because it only help you to stick to your enemy, the other two ability will be more effective. So those were the abilities and now I will show you how to play Krul correctly. Krul doesn't have much energy so use his ability wisely, many beginners just spam his ability without knowing anything, you shouldn't build energy for Krul. Never fight in early game because Krul is the weakest hero in early game, in mid game you can fight more often because it is when Krul get stronger. When farming, I recommend using his first ability only, if you are low in health, you can use your
Spectral Smite when it has many stacks, you only use your sword throw when needed.
Being an expert of krul, I always suggest to start off with a
Swift Shooter unless you are a roam, you always need to bring to pot of potions in early game because it help you so much in early game, specially when you are Krul because Krul is so weak early game. Almost mid game I buy a Dragon heart to get ready for the
Shiversteel, the
Sprint Boots to have the escape ability, I also bought double
Weapon Blade ready for the sorrow blade, I bought a
Light Shield but you can change this to a
Light Armor depend on your game. Mid game I bought a
Shiversteel, this items help krul so much because it help krul to stick to his enemies, I upgrade the
Swift Shooter to a
Blazing Salvo, I upgrade the
Light Shield to a
Kinetic Shield, as I said you can change this to armor, I finish of my sorrow blade, but if the enemy carry is very squishy, I suggest you build a
Tension Bow to kill them quicker, the sorrow blade is for the sustain damage, I bought a
Heavy Steel to get ready for the [breaking point. Almost mid game, I bought the
Breaking Point, I upgrade the
Kinetic Shield to an
Aegis,
Travel Boots is for the speed and I add
Light Armor, you can buy the
Light Armor earlier if you are having trouble with WP Heroes. My full build is just finish off everything, When you are full build, I suggest to infuse whenever possible. I didn't buy any CP items, but you can add an
Aftershock replace for the defense Items, don't change the WP items though.
Thank you for reading all of this, I put so much work into this and hope you enjoy.
