Abilities Reasoning and Usage Top

One of Taka's main strengths is the comparability between his abilities and heroic perk. When you get more skilled at using Taka you should be able to constantly sneak up on your opponent with Kaku, Score a quick x-retsu, and counter the opponents natural urge to use their most powerful ability with Kaiten (which grants temporary invincibility). Kaiten is a very useful skill as it has extremely short cool downs, it's temporary invincibility, and its final level allows it to be used at 0 energy cost. If the abilities are used in a similar manner as the one stated above you will max out his heroic perk, granting a critical strike every attack which will make a quick finish of any enemy. Mastering his heroic perk is extremely crucial to making a (nearly) unbeatable Taka. If used correctly you should be able to constantly get critical strikes that have 20% lifesteal. Along with the serpent's mask this will make you able to defeat most enemy heroes with losing less than 100 health, that is if you get hit at all.

Items Reasoning, Strategies, and Variations Top

For early game I chose the items Sprint Boots, Weapon Blade, another Weapon Blade, Barbed Needle, Swift Shooter, and Energy Battery. Sprint Boots are necessary for Taka as they are essential to making a huge advantage in speed. The Weapon Blades are mainly there for you to gather some extra damage to increase your critical strike effectiveness. I have found Barbed Needle to help a lot in Taka builds as it greatly enhances the amount of lifesteal he gets from his attacks. Swift Shooter seems like a no brainier so he can rack up critical strikes as quickly as possible. Energy Battery will be needed until his Kaiten is at max level, it may then be sold. Midgame mainly continues the line of these items with little variation. For the final build I would say the absolute essentials are Journey Boots, Sorrowblade, Serpent's mask, and Tornado Trigger. Aftershock is just an item I chose as it will extraordinarily increase your first attack's effectiveness after you initial burst of abilities against an enemy hero. It may be replaced if you like. Weapon Infusion may also be replaced as it is merely something to help you out later on in the game. If you grind effectively from the game's start you should easily be the first to level 12 by a few minutes and you will most likely never get to this build as 9/10 times you should destroy their crystal before they can retaliate.

Threat explanation Top

Obviously it is exaggerated that they are all very low threat. In a 1v1 situation you should ALWAYS be able to win with this build, however the whole point of this game is to use teamwork to take down your opponents. While this Taka is amazing in 1v1, it is even better in a team fight as he can hide while his teammates engage so he can sneak in for an untouched triple kill. Taka may be an assassin but that doesn't mean game mechanics don't apply to him. If you truly learn to play him right he is possibly the best character in the game (hence the reason he is about the highest difficulty hero to use). I bid you good luck in your ventures!
