2 observations about this item:

1) If you're mostly just going to be getting the last hit on creeps in the lane, and not jungling or attacking heroes, this is going to heal more than serpent mask.

2) This item's passive gives DOUBLE lifesteal on melee heroes. I tried using glaive in lane because of that fact, in it was pretty effective; I could usually heal faster than skaarf could hurt me. I might make a guide on melee laners after I test it out some more.
