I start off upgrading gift of fire because healing is essential to support and keeping adagio alive. Also, it gives him extra energy. Agent of wrath is also overdrived because without extra weapon damage, adagio needs the bonus damage from the ability. Verses of judgement has a long cool down so I don't bother overdriving it.

Journey boots are for the bonus speed, health, armor, and shield. Clock work gives lots of energy and shortens cool down. War horn is for support speed, bonus health,and gives him money even if adagio doesn't kill it. Metal jacket is essential for survival. Shatter glass just gives tons of crystal power and alternating current gives more attack speed along with more crystal AND extra basic attack damage.
