Introduction Top
Krul is by far the most sustainable hero on the Halcyon Fold and can turn the tides in fights by his own hand. He is not a pick up and go hero as he needs to be mastered to be effective. His abilities are what make him seem to survive everything, but they need to be used correctly. Don't let his power get the best of you, jumping into unrealistic scenarios will grant you a sure death. Krul exceeds in extended team fights and his items need to be built around his strengths.
Abilities Top
Dead Man's Rush- Krul dashes to the target, deals damage and applies basic-attack effects. Activating Dead Man's Rush grants Krul a health barrier for 2.5 seconds.
Spectral Smite - Passive Effect: Basic attacks & abilities apply Weakness for 4 seconds (up to 8 stacks). Each stack reduces the target's attack speed and crystal power by 10% and increases Krul's lifesteal against the weakened target.
Activate: Detonate the stacks to deal damage and regain health based on the number of stacks consumed.
From Hell's Heart - Krul pulls Hellrazor from his chest and hurls it in the targeted direction. If the sword hits an enemy hero (on the way out or the way back), it stuns and slows the target and deals damage. Stun duration is longer based on the distance the sword has traveled.

Item build Top
Start
Krul off with
Swift Shooter and a couple of potions.
As you clear the jungle (try to avoid fights as
Krul is weak in the beginning) grab another
Swift Shooter and proceed to purchase two
Minion's Foot and boots.
Upgrade both
Swift Shooter and
Minion's Foot to
Blazing Salvo and
Lucky Strike because this makes his
Spectral Smite on hit effects stack faster and have a higher crit chance.
Upgrade boots to tier two and also upgrade to
Tornado Trigger. Start working on a defense item (
Light Armor or
Light Shield) to survive longer. Pick
Light Armor if the enemy is using WP however, if the enemy has stuns and is CP, go with the
Light Shield
Put more gold into upgrading
Breaking Point as this grants you much better damage in longer fights. Upgrade defensive item to tier two and work towards a
Shiversteel as this allows
Krul to become much stickier.

This shows that the build can carry a team if needed.
Krul needs all the farm he can to reach the final build and demolish enemies.
This match was difficult as
Krul and
Ardan were trying to focus me. Catherine and I had to carry Ringo for the majority of the match as he was lacking damage output until he upgraded.
