 Skaarf This cute little fireball machine should be a feeding bowl to the fox.

 Petal When facing Pedal, burst the main target down and leave her munions. When chasing, hit her munions to boost your speed. She won't stand a chance.

 Celeste A good Celeste can predict where you are and use skills on you, even you are in Kaku. Still, a surprise attack could cause chaos for her.

 Ringo He is scarier than you think. He slows, he shoots fast, and his Ult is near impossible to dodge. But you can still burst him down easily if he doesn't outdamage you. But if you realised it and try to run, it's too late.

 Vox Vox is squishy, but avoid being ganked by him.

 Adagio If you will, he is the only hero that can devastate the whole enemy team. Never use Kaiten until he uses Verse of Judgment.

 Joule Joule's Ult can put you to ashes and Rocket Leap on you and stun. She also has heavy plating. So the strategy is to take her down when she escapes. If not, don't engage.

 Krul Krul excels in 1v1 so gank him. Or still, catch him by surprise and he won't react fast to lifesteal you.

 Reim Reim may be scary but he actually isn't. Find a good time to burst him down and he can't even Frostguard, or rather, buy a Bonesaw.

 Fortress Fortress' Ult can sniff you out. So be weary, Still, he is considered a Warrior mix with Protector, so he will take the hits. Try to outplay him to take down the carry.

 SAW SAW's weaknesses should be assassins, but his Roadie Run gets him out of that situation. Also, he can slow you so be more sly when fighting him.

 Ardan Who doesn't hate Ardan's Gauntlet. His skills were already dangerous for you, and if he goes WP, you are toasted.

 Glaive Glaive spells terrifying. All he does is AoE Crir attacks. If he catches you in the lane, you are dead.

 Koshka The only difference between you and Koshka is she stuns and you run. Wait for her stun to come down and get rid of her, otherwise, she will get rid of you.

 Phinn Phinn is good at two things and that is tanking and catching you. So eliminate the others first. It doesn't matter if he dies or not but you should never go against him alone.

 Catherine She pretty much counters everything with her shield. Do not 1v1 her unless she is near dead.

 Taka It's all about who has the better build and who is more sly. Afterall, if you are the best then only you can beat yourself.

Foreword Top

Before you get into this guide, check out all builds by pressing the arrows on the side at the picture. Get know to all builds.
Assassin build is for professionals in playing Taka, This is the best build I can come up with.
Cutter build is for getting in the faces of your enemies and cut them open, very useful when all your allies are CP.
Flanker build is for newbies, use Kaku to get a good position, and burst them open, run to save yourself.
Decoy build is hard, but when your team does not have any tanks or protectors, you can be one, by your slipperiness and items, you will be a decoy for your team to unleash their full abilities.
One more thing, there is not such "Perfect build". You have to search your playstlye and create one that suits you most, anyways, enjoy the build and guide, see you on the Halcyon Fold.

The combination of a fox and assassin Top

Hello, my name is Cloudex and this is my first hero guide. In this guide, we are going to look at Taka, a deadly assassin. Without futher a do, let's see what he is capable of.
Off we go

Let's say House Kamuha is one of the best heroic perks in the game, to conclude what it does, it gives you Mortal Strike from time to time which will increase damage, lifesteal and speed boost after you land one. You keep track of when you land one by looking at the Ki bar at the bottom left. You gain maximum 5 stacks.
Its time for you to panic

Kaiten lets you flip over your target, cutting them and resets your attack. While you are in mid-air, you are literally in God mode.
Why am I running if I can do that somersault thing!

Kaku is one out of two skills that make you invisible, you gain a small speed boost and will regenerate health. Yet you can still be damaged, and the skill will end early when you get hit directly or you hit an enemy. Turrets and monsters can still see you.
Blink and I’m gone

X-Retsu lets you wind up for short while, and carves an X at the target. The target will suffer crystal damage and mortal wound (bleed out) for the next 3 seconds.
Blood everywhere!

How to be a fox Top

Taka is quite squishy, everyone would agree on that, but as a fox, he can be very cunning and lead your team to victory. Here are some tips when playing him to be as sneaky as possible.
Peek-a-boo
1. When using Kaku, try to go the other way that your enemies wouldn't go to find you, for example, towards their jungle, hide in a bush and wait till they pass by you, or going into the lane. This can shake them off pretty easily. But be aware, Kaku only lasts for 6 seconds no matter the upgrades, so time your invis correctly.

2. A fox chooses his target carefully, so it is always to attack when the enemy carry is near your turret, this will either kill them or damage them enough to run away.
Wait, have I killed you before?
3. Always stick to your tank. Considering Taka is squishy, a distraction is always welcomed. And if your tank dies, run away, even if it means giving up on the Kraken, the last thing you want to have is get aced.
You, egh, stupidface...

Killing it like an assassin Top

Taka is deadly for sure, and that some skills will make him even deadlier.
Do I look mysterious?
1. Kaiten is your best friend. A lot of guides out there say X-Retsu and Kaiten your target. Don't. The reason is Kaiten makes you invincible for a short while. If you used it right at the beginning, you have a window for your enemies to land their Ult and that is deadly. Always only use Kaiten when needed, for example Ardan's Gauntlet, Adagio's Verse of Judgment, Catherine's Blast Tremor.
So this mission is a death trap, great!
2. Keep your Ki up when possible, you can get them by using skills or basic attacks. Maximum stacks of Ki guarantees every basic attacks to be Mortal Strikes and that is what makes you deadly.
Tell your mom to stop calling me.
3. Here is a more subtle one, but if an enemy is coming towards you in a bush, only basic attack, X-Retsu pounces you out of the bush and you will lose sight of him.
Once I tried to juggle three blades and a minion, it didn't end well for the minion.

Taka Vs Taka? Top

Here is a controversial one, what would happen when Taka Vs Taka? How do you win?
I thought we were besties!
1. Lead him to a 1v1. If you meet a Taka, try and lure him to 1v1 you so that he doesn't have backup or tanks.
Lets provoke a team fight!
2. Dodge or not to dodge. Depending on what build he is, activate Kaiten to dodge his attacks, if he is WP, dodge his Mortal Strikes, and if he Kaiten you let it be, but if he is CP, Kaiten him at the same time when he's doing the same, this allows you to counter his skills.
Meh, whatever.
3.Smoke Bomb battle. If the enemy Taka tries to run by Kaku, don't Kaku yet, let him notice your presence and Kaku seconds later to catch if off guard, depending on how much health he has he might either sneak attack you or run the opposite direction. Either way you should catch him with ease.

Good allies for Taka Top

As Taka, you are not a lone fox (See what I did there? Heahea... Ha.). So you need allies. Here are some who work exceptionally well with him.
Lets take a walk down memory lane, but with knives!

Adagio is a great protector for Taka, he heals you, he buffs you (deadly!). Who can do better than that?

Glaive can knock the enemy to your feet, that's all it matters.

Fortress can seek out enemies for you so you can kill them, easy.

Believe it or not, SAW can use Suppressing Fire to slow down enemies and you can dive in and kick their arses. Super effective.

What is better than an invisible hero? Two invisible heroes. Kestrel can turn invisible and make good ambushes, plus if used correctly, she can stun enemies making your attack way easier.

Conclusion Top

In all means, a tactical play makes Taka extremely dangerous. A normal Taka could get at least 10 kills, good Takas can get over 20 kills.Have fun playing as the fox, and I hope to see you on the Halcyon Fold.
