Vox is definitely the most mobile sniper in the game. His early game isn't anywhere near strong so what you wanna do is, master the 'Art of Last Hitting', get the nice gold going, once you have even 2 of your items, you
WILL start wrecking people.
Farming Guide: How to use the Early Items, Crystal bit and Book of Eulogies Top
Like I've added to the build up top, You wanna start with a
Crystal Bit and a
Book of Eulogies.
Why is that? Well laners fear vox's poke, believe me , they do, early on with a crystal bit the resonance will keep the enemy at bay.
But, how to always last hit and deal with vox's weak early game with a mere +5 weapon power from Book of Eulogies?
Lane Freezing
Now to lane freeze you'll have to lose a bit of the early gold, but once you do that, you'll be golden.
By freezing the lane on your side, you'll have lovely gank opportunities because the enemy laner is bound to overextend to get their farm.
How to Freeze the lane.
Let 2-3 of your minions die, slowly the wave moves to your side of the lane, then, you
kill one enemy minion only when one of your's dies, in this way you will have successfully owned the lane, as long as you maintain this balance you're set.
The Farming under Turret Mantra
With +5 WP , that is Book of Eulogies only
Small minions
1 Turret Shot > 1 Basic Attack = Profit
Big Minion
1 Turret Shot > 1 Basic Attack > 1 Turret Shot > 1 Basic Attack = Profit
Item 1
- It's a whopping amount of raw power, which once starts
critting, it dishes out some serious hurt, but i'll always recommend this as a first.
Item 2
- This provides you with the attack speed you need and also adds more weapon power the longer you've been dishing out damage in the fight.
- Buy this if you see Everyone rushing
Metal Jacket, It'll be more effective than
Breaking Point in that case.
Item 3

Crit chance and
Crit damage, turns you into the feared monster of the battlefield.
Item 4
- Versus Mage or CP jungler
- Versus Sniper or WP Jungler
Item 5
- Vox's dash is good enough people cant catch him anyway, but these boots are good for the
extra stats they provide.
- Fastest Passive move speed, good for kiting.
Item 6
- The beauty of
Vox, he works good enough with only 5 items, if you do happen to reach a place where you need to buy another item, get monocle, almost assured crits, and yay more crit damage.
INFUSION INFUSION INFUSION!!!
The items listed here in this order shouldn't be built this way, Don't run around Defenseless and 'Bootless' (or should i say barefooted) and say you're dying.
Only Rush
Sorrowblade at first shop, make enough gold to get it directly, build the other items through their item paths.
Tips and Tricks Top
1. Use resonance only when enemy laner is in view and is actively trying to farm
2. Once once minion wave is about to get over, you've applied resonance and the next wave isnt in view, very slowly basic attack the last minion left from the old wave, enough to keep the resonance on and then transfer it to the new wave so you dont waste energy,
3. Don't Overextend without good items, vox is weak and will get decimated early, instead use the explicit farming guide for early game
4. Learn to stutter step if you don't know how to do that already, you'll need it to get the most out of
Breaking Point
5. Use Ultimate only in an ongoing fight and not at the start of it
