Petal is best known for the control of her munions (3 onion-pets that attack at a long range via crystal power). This build explains the best path to utilize her munions.

Start:
-Before you sprint off the platform buy 2 Halcyon Potions and a Crystal Bit
Halcyon potions will save you in case you run into trouble in the jungle, early-game crystal power will boost your munion power
-Start by upgrading Brambleboom Seeds first, and if possible, drop one the moment you are able to move (dropping it quickly will give you one munion for practically free because of your regen)

    Early Game:
-Always keep a couple halcyon potions on you until you're at least Level 6
-This build starts straight with a path to Shatterglass, so get there as quickly as possible but don't overlook weapon speed. Petal has one of the longest ranges in the game, take advantage of it

    Mid-Game:
-Once you have a Shatterglass, grab Travel Boots. Due to low health, Petal is weak, Travel Boots and proper use of Petal's Trampoline can keep you out of danger
-Start building toward an Alternating Current, this is an awesome item for Petal due to her long range and already strong crystal power

    Mid/Late Game:
-Once you have an Alternating Current the only power item you need is Frostburn. The order of purchase of Frostburn and Alternating Current can be swapped depending on your personal playing style. Frostburn is especially good for Petal because her munions are crystal power, and Frostburn slows the enemy once attacked with crystal power. This means the moment the munions bite their cute teeth into your enemy, they're slowed
-If you're doing pretty good early game kill wise, go straight for Frostburn after Shatterglass to keep your damage up, if you're not doing as well, Alternating Current makes farming faster and brings up your munion damage and your own damage.
-If you notice you're dying a lot and/or being targeted by the enemy during team fights, start building towards a Crucible, if not this is not needed (although it's never a bad idea to build an extra HP cushion!)

    Late Game:
-You made it! You're finally here! Level 12! Get ready for intense full team battles and Kraken stealing!
-Once you have all three of your main crystal items, go ahead and get some Journey Boots if you have the extra $, if not Travel Boots are better than no boots and with Frostbite, Shatterglass and Alternating Current and a possible Crucible, you're strong enough to stand your ground in a 1v1 and if you're lucky or a teammate is nearby a 1v2.

    Extra Items:
-If you find your team is doing really well money wise, you'll have extra $ to spend, if you run into this, no worries! Eve of Harvest will help if you haven't purchased a Crucible. It'll heal you every time your munions attack, albeit a small amount but because of your range you're already at the edge of fights so you have time to build up HP. Broken Myth helps late game which is usually full of team fights which, because everyone is at a ceiling level and has at least 2 3rd tier items, the fights are long which is what Broken Myth thrives on.

    Good luck!
