Bloodrush Koshka's passive ability grants her bonus movement speed after using her abilities. If you use an ability 4 times, you'll get solid +2 m/s, which is more than you get from activation of Boots. So she must not attack the enemies direct in the face, like Krul or Blackfeather. She should jump on the enemies, use Pouncy Fun and Twirly Death, return to a safe position, wait for cooldown of abilities and strike again. The main advantage of Koshka is her unpredictability and suddenness. Also the Pouncy Fun and Twirly Death abilities' cooldowns decrease by 2 seconds. with each basic attack. Yummy Catnip Frenzy's cooldown time decreases by 1 second. Good Koshka players use this a lot. For example, when I have ultimate on cooldown and I see that a teamfight can begin very soon, I can attack some monsters several times, not using the abilities, only to regain my ultimate. So I have a long stun on the ready in every teamfight. |
Pouncy Fun This ability is pretty simple – you jump to the enemy and deal damage. You should upgrade it slowly, and on level 12 you can choose between overdriving this or Yummy Catnip Frenzy. If the enemies aren't very good at blocking and I can always hit one of them, I overdrive the ultimate, and if they are, I overdrive Pouncy Fun for more damage. |
Twirly Death This ability deals the main damage in Koshka's kit. When you activate it, it deals damage to all enemies in a circle around your hero, so you should try to use it in the thick of fight. It also has a passive effect. When Twirly Death hits any non-ally object, Koshka gets a stack for each enemy damaged by the ability. Each basic attack after that consumes one stack, and becomes greatly empowered. You can check the amount of stacks in the bottom left corner. That's why Koshka is so powerful against Petal – the pets give her 3 additional stacks. It's advisable to have some stacks accumulated before the fight. For example, you can use Twirly Death on a minion wave and acquire up to 5 stacks. But try not to attack after that, or you'll waste the stacks. And don't go stacking up on low-HP minions, or you'll kill them off with the ability damage itself and make your laner angry. You should learn and overdrive this ability ASAP. |
Yummy Catnip Frenzy This ability deals significant damage to a single target and stuns for 2.2 seconds (that's one of the longest stuns in the game). Experienced enemies can block this ultimate with a Reflex Block, then the ability will stop. So you may want to use it suddenly, for example, from the bush. |
