1
Adagio Unless in a group. I have never found adagio a problem at all.
2
Glaive Too easy to defeat, but be careful when the rest of the team is around
3
Krul Krul is in a similar league to adaigo, but if unprepared, is a bit of a problem.
4
  No Threat
5
Koshka Think of kosha ask krul, but more of a threat
6
Ringo Not much to say here, just keep an eye on him. Or a mech
6
SAW Saw has a high damage output, especially when on full stacks of spin up. The best way to deal with saw is to catch him when not on full stacks of spin up.
7
Petal Probably one of the most annoying characters to come across, due to the weird onion pet things. Try to only attack when with other members of your team
8
Catherine Catherine is one of joules biggest counter, due to its stun and silence. Your ultimate way not even damage her if her storm guard barrier is up. Try to time your ultimate at the right moment to maximise damage output
8
Taka Taka can be a huge problem if your opponent knows what he is doing. His regen is rediculously hard to counter when active, so take caution when against him.
9
Joule Joule is your biggest problem when your a joule. These battles narrow down to who ends up having the better items. Always stay on guard!

Intro Top

This guide is made specifically for joule players who are going to JUNGLE. Do not take my word for this if you are laning. In order for this to work, you need to be farming quite a lot in the jungle, while only going for kills when the time calls. So let's begin!

Battle for Halcyon fold has begun! Top

Start if with an Ironguard Contract. Don't bother with a Weapon Blade. For this guide, your going to need all the gold you can get at the very beginning of this match. Ironguard Contract is perfect to start of with. Buy potions if you wish to. Now, begin to attack all the jungle monsters once they spawn. Don't bother to buy anything yet UNTILL you get 800 gold. Now buy a Lifespring after recalling. On a side note make sure you aren't too low on ability power. You are going to need it, so recall if you need to.

Mining has begun! Top

This is the most important time to farm for gold. First start by saving up your gold until you get 1150 so you can by Heavy Steel. Next save up 800 gold for chrongeaph, then 950 gold for a heavy crystal. This is necessary, because the heavy steel will boost the Thunder Strikes Damage, while heavy crystal will increase your ultimate's damage. Finish off your set with a Blazing Salvo(700)

10min mark Top

Now, you may notice you can build the heavy crystal and Blazing Salvo into an Alternating Current. So now save up 1150 gold to do so. Now you have an item that does two jobs in one. This very useful for mid game. Now buy an Eclipse Prism. We're going to build into a Aftershock soon.

Kraken!!!!!!!!!! Top

Save up until 1150 gold to buy the Aftershock. This will give you more basic attack damage every time you use an ability. Very useful if you are needed in lane. Now save up to buy a Fountain of Renewal. Feel free to sell the Ironguard Contract now, as it is taking up a valuable item slot. Now buy a Coat of Plates to negate basic attack damage. Then By a Six Sins(650) to build into the Sorrowblade at end game. Organise your team to go for the Kraken once you have everything.

End Game Top

If you are still not done with the battle after this, you have a few options to choose from. I normally build into a Sorrowblade(Should be 1300 if you have done what i told you before). Alternatively, you can save up for a Metal Jacket instead for even more damage mitigation. Either way, its better to get both these items. Finally round it up with Travel Boots. The reason I didn't suggest getting this earlier is because I feel its a waste of an item space. its better to get this at the end. if you do go for this option earlier, remember to build into the Journey Boots, as it has many different attributes to it that will help you

Areas to look out for! Top

MUST CONTORL!
The green areas highlighted are areas you must keep under your control! If someone tries to steal those areas, beat the living **** out of them!
DON'T LET ANYONE IN!
The blue area is your jungle. The key word is YOUR! Don't let the enemy inside. It's your territory. If they feed of your jungle monster, go kill them, rip their head off and make a sign saying 'STAY OUT, *****!' with your enemies head hanging from it.
UNKNOWN TERRITORY!
The yellow area defines the area that I suggest you stay out of if you aren't a confident jungler. However, if you are a confident jungler, feel free to take control of the enemies minion mine, and kill their monsters. This is easier to do if there are two jugglers on your team, so you have the chance for back up.
DANGER!
Avoid this area as much as possible. Don't let enemies lead you into their turrets, because if they do, your pretty much screwed. When I say this, if a ally calls for help, I'm NOT saying that you should help them out. Just don't attempt that area on your own.
HOME CAMP
Your base is of high priority if your entrance turret is destroyed. If the enemy is inside, you need to get them out of there! Their presence in there alone is a threat to your victory. If your Vain crystal is under attack, forget about the jungle and defend! There is one situation where being in the opponents base instead is appropriate.
ENEMY CAMP
This area is a total no-go zone, especially if the enemy is attacking your base. You should only be here if pushing with your team. However, if the battle for the fold is coming to close and all turrets in both sides are down, then consider going for a quick sneak attack on the opponents Vain. Sneak in by rocket leaping over the walls and begin your onslaught on the enemy vain. See an enemy coming? Don't bother taking the long way, just rocket leap over the walls again. This means it takes time for the enemy to get to you, ensuring your escape (unless another enemy is there....Good Luck).

KRAKEN SOLO WITH JOULE Top

( Only works with joule, not sure if this works with anyone else)

Recently, I have been experimenting with different item sets with joule to maximise her potential. By doing this I discovered a way to SOLO THE KRAKEN! The item set is shown above in the items section. While I suggest using Tornado Trigger (as it works better for me), Blazing Salvo can be used, though it is much harder. It's recommended you are level 12 before attempting this.

First, make sure all your abilities are available, including ult. You will be using it. Make sure ability power is full. Fountain of Renewal IS A MUST, as health regen will allow you to survive longer. Journey Boots further increases this regen, so have those as well. Start of in your jungle and bring your Thunder Strike stacks up to 3 at least. Now Rocket Leap to the kraken and start dishing out damage with Thunder Strike and Rocket Leap when it loads again. When you're halfway through to capturing the kraken, use your ultimate to get it to 75%. The reason I suggest this is because you need to be wary of opponents who may be in the jungle at the time, so be careful. When you drop below 50% health, use the Fountain of Renewal to regen. Continue to bash Kraken until you capture it.

Congratulations! Now you have successfully soloed the kraken. Once captured, you will recieve a temprorary regen to healt and Ability power, so don't bother recalling. I have tried this method a few times and every tie it has worked. Let me know in the comments if you have any queries, or if you have any suggestions on how to make it even easier.

Conclusion+Tips & Tricks Top

Congratulations! Now you can crush the enemy team with your epic skills! IF you don't like the item sets, I have left some suggested items that you can have instead

TIPS:

-Make sure you keep the gold mine for your team, as you will need the constant gold income. Remember this build will not work without doing so, as it pretty much requires a steady income of gold.

-Don't wait to have teammate help you beat the gold mine monster. They your hero perk will negate damage quite easily, so feel free to attack when needed.

-Don't be afraid to pop your Ultimate when you are being attacked by a group. Chances are, they are going to let their guard down when attacking you, so catch them off guard and punch that big red button.

- Joule Relies Heavily on ability power, so you can consider saving up for a Void Battery early in game rather than a life spring. This can then later be upgraded to a Frostburn if you so desire. The choice is yours.

- If you notice your team is in need of help in lane, HELP THEM! You need to work as a team and this means you need to listen to call for help. You may even score a few kill in the process.

- if you have another jungler on your team, don't feed of their monster's. I find this the most annoying thing a Vainglory Player can do, So don't do it.

- You may decide on getting a Clockwork over a Aftershock. Being cheaper, with better cool down reduction, it is easier pop ultimate's as they will load faster

- When Soloing the Kraken, you might consider leaving some scout traps in the enemy jungle. This will alert you to any activity nearby while in your struggle against turtleface. It's your decision whether to flee or to stay.

- Rocket Leap is perfect for surprise attacks and quick getaways. At some point I'll have a gameplay video on this guide. Until then, imagine it.

Thanks For reading this. This my first time making a guide, so if you have anything you disagree with, please leave your CONSTRUCTIVE CRITICISM in the comments. Please negative comments...

THANK YOU!!
