About Me Top
Hi. My name is Infernious (also known as DatBurn), a leader of Team iStardusts. I started to play Vainglory almost a year and half now. A year ago, I used Vainglory Fire to help myself become better when I started and saw how useful it was. So now I'm here, making a guide for you all to give my advice about this game.
Ringo is a strong lane hero who is easy to pick up and deadly when mastered. He has a good amount of damage output and kits that help him chase or escape enemies.
Ringo went through some changes but he is still one of our favorite lane heroes to play. Both of his Weapon Power build and Crystal Power build packs a punch.
Abilities Top
Ringo's heroic perk is
Double Down. After killing anything, Ringo's next basic attack is guaranteed to be a critical strike. Using this to poke enemies while farming is efficient. Auto attack your opponent lane hero by using
Double Down to constantly pressure him. It's a very simple and useful heroic perk.
Ringo's first ability is
Achilles Shot. Ringo fires a bullet at enemy's heal and slows them down for brief amount of time. This ability can be used to reset his auto attack, allowing
Ringo to immediately fire another auto attack right after using one. Use
Achilles Shot to either prevent enemies from escaping your raging bullets or to slow them from engaging on you and your team mates.
Twirling Silver increases
Ringo's movement speed and attack speed for short period of time. This ability can also reset Ringo's auto attack on the activation. Use this ability when battling the enemy to unleash the damages. This ability also helps Ringo chase down enemies or escape from a bad situation. Kite your enemies while using this ability instead of staying still in one spot.
Ringo's ultimate ability is
Hellfire Brew.
Ringo takes a swig from his gourd and spits out a ball of flames that follows the targeted enemy. The damage ignores all shield. The explosion can affect multiple enemies and setting them on fire for 7 seconds. This ability is a good engagement skill and also a good finisher. Enemies can block this ability by using
Reflex Block. Personally, I don't use this ability much.
Play Style Top
When the game starts, focus on farming. It is nice to deal some damage to the enemy lane opponents but be careful of how much damage you take too. In early game, the lane creeps can hurt. If you are going to poke you opponent, make sure the big lane creep is dead or immediately back off after taking a shot at your opponent. Personally, I focus on the big creep first. Since it takes longer to take him down, you lane will be automatically pushed towards your turret which is important. It allows your jungle duos to gank the lane easily.
Avoid using your abilities a lot while farming. There is no need to use
Twirling Silver for every wave of creeps. Save your energy for later, it will help.
During team fights, build your
Breaking Point stacks before fighting. Use all of your abilities wisely and do not waste them. Stay behind your roamer if there is a high threat opponent trying to kill you.
Ringo has ability to deal a lot of damage in short period of time. Do not be too greedy and go in first. You can be caught out and deleted quickly.
About Breaking Point Top
Breaking Point is a very unique item that is dependent on stacks. You gain 10 weapon power for every 125 weapon damage dealt to enemy heroes (+5 damage needed for each stack thereafter). You can get maximum of 25 stacks. Two stacks will decay per second after you stop stacking for 2 seconds. It also gives +35% attack speed and +50 weapon power
Longer a fight, stronger you get. However, you are going to need some damages before you can gain stacks so it is not recommended to get
Breaking Point as a first item. I see many players get
Breaking Point first which is very silly.
Breaking Point synergies with
Twirling Silver very well. With the increased attack speed, you will be able to gain stacks faster so use it well!
Bonesaw or Breaking Point? Top
Some of you might not know which and when you should get the items.
Bonesaw gives +30 weapon power and +50% attack speed. On hit, your basic attacks shred 7% of the target's armor for 6 seconds. You can get a maximum of 7 stacks. When your team is going double weapon power, or enemy team is build defense such as
Metal Jacket or
Atlas Pauldron, build toward Bonesaw first after completing your
Sorrowblade. If not, it is fine to build toward
Breaking Point first after finishing
Sorrowblade.
You are going to end up with both anyways but prioritizing one or the other can help.
Conclusion Top
Thank you for taking your time to read this guide on weapon power
Ringo. He is a very easy hero to pick up. I hope this guide taught you somethings you didn't know. There are many other build path for Ringo so go give them a shot. Try them out! I hope I helped and have fun dominating on the Halcyon Fold!
