This build seems to work for you and you wanted to share it with others, I think that's great :)
If the build compliments your playstyle, then that's what matters. For myself I like to play Glaive as a ganker (just replace the Tornado Trigger with a Tension Bow in your Ultra Build) or straight tank (core of Fountain of Renewal, Crucible, and Breaking Point). Some would probably say those aren't effective, but it's carried me to The Hotness :P
Plus, who says players learning to play a hero can't use your build and then tweak it to their liking? You put yourself out there and helped the community grow. Thank you ColosusR23!
Yeah thanks a lot wolf_hands I appreciate your commenting on this build! I did put this build out cause I knew it had some sort of weight to it and I thought i could share it and so far it's prooving fruitful. I'm glad you noticed that, of course, the builds here aren't set in stone, they're free to do with what you wish. These bipuilds are here to "guide" players to a better experience. Thanks again for the support.

Its not bad, but not to good either. In early game, building tornado trigger was alright. It wasn't hurting my farm but it was making me really weak to all those early game team fights. Fountain really helped because I was now I can sustain. Energy was a real nuisance because I would always run out using "B", so Chronograph and Battery help tons. But I felt like with all the attack speed I had I should be getting more damage and more critical chance, so I went for final build B. I made the right choice and now I was doing more damage meanwhile getting more critical chances. The build is alright, doesn't make all to powerful early game but late game it helps me become a tank that everyones going to be fearing.
I know it does start slow but later the other skills cover your weak spots and turn you tanky in the end. I'm glad you tired it out!

I get sorrowblade first then go for tornado then tyrants. All the while getting a dragon heart and boots. Get another tornado or sorrowblade and finish of health with crucible and journey. Full build WP Glaive right there is op.
Like what JTTM said tornado trigger first isn't smart. Yes you attack faster but... It won't matter because your basics do NO damage. I would do sorrowblade then tyrants monocle and then tornado trigger.
This build doesn't really rely on WP as much as tactical use of the abilities. Glaive's abilities have heavy dammage especially the Bloodsong. With tornado trigger landing hits nonstop jus simply adding a Bloodsong attack will land the crit needed to finish them off.

Obviously, team composition and what the enemy builds is going to impact this. But I still think upgrading to Tornado Trigger first is a horrible choice.
One, most Tier 3 Weapon items aren't going to be cost-effective to upgrade until much later. So, doing so itself is a waste of money.
Secondly, a utility/cooldown Glaive with energy sustain and tankier items will destroy your Glaive in a straight on fight since your build has no defense items nor cooldown accel until probably around 15 min.
And thirdly, attack speed without the proper wp damage on a melee, especially Glaive who gains no obvious benefit from AS besides multiplying damage (compared to Taka's passive or Krul), is going to get you outdamaged in fights. On the note of damage, Trigger's crits aren't reliable for damage.
Mid-game is going to go pretty rough for a Glaive that has spent most on Tornado Trigger. The Glaives you went up against most likely built straight weapon power without sufficient defense and those are simply not good examples for any type of matchup.
My main point is that your hybrid build seems okay, but it is too weak to make it out of mid game. The final build won't be complete before the enemy has starved you of gold and decimated you. I simply believe there are other non-pure weapon Glaives that are better. This is harsh criticism, but I think it stands in real games. If this works for you, then go with it.
No you're right, I clearly don't study this game as you do and was just voicing my experience with this particular Build and of course a big part of it is always situational strategizing.
Actually if you've tried this build it does start a little slow like you said the farming isn't the best near the beginning, but what I've noticed is that in the end this build comes out more superior to those who build only WP,I've gone up against plenty of WP Glaive's and in the end the Golden Glaive can hold out better.

This build might look balanced but it's really just covering up early/mid game weaknesses using defensive stats. If you want to use Glaive like a tanky initiator (since this build cannot compete with Glaive crit builds for WP damage), then you're much better off going Warhorn plus tanky items without the damage.
Essentially, Tornado Trigger is a waste since it does not synergize with the other crystal items and is not followed up quickly by more WP items. Although the final additions with crystal burst seem nice, you will most likely be starved by mid-game because of Tornado Trigger and lack of farm ability.
There's really only a couple viable ways to build Glaive that are actually competitive; he's either a speed/crit monster (your build has close to no crit or WP until like 15 min), a tanky support (your build is too squishy and Glaive will get shredded late game), or a crystal Glaive (which also relies on tanky items and Aftershock proc).
