Do & Don'ts
Do:
1. Patiently wait for great target.
2. Aim the soft one.
3. Wisely use
Kaiten to avoid enemy's skills.
Don't:
1. Perform
X-Retsu+
Kaiten to enemy's protector which have full HP & EP.
2. Too hasty to use
Kaiten after
X-Retsu.
3. Too hasty to use
Kaku, watch your status (negative buffs) before using it.
4. Steal kill, you might have lots of kill, but your team's scale needs to be balanced to win.
(1) Early - Mid Game Gank (Level 2 - 4)
Since you guys already know the scene & danger spots already, so I'll write the short version of it.
- Before ganking, make sure
at least you bring
Weapon Blade. For more safety thing, bring
Reflex Block.
- Find your target.
- Use
Kaiten to start a WAR, usually
Taka will automatically hit once after it.
- Of course, they'll scared and run to find their mama. In this case, accompany him back with Stutter Step. ;)
- After doing that, Ki Stacks will reach about 3 Stacks and maybe Kaiten is already available again.
- Unfortunately, your target already died in the middle of his journey to his mama.
====
- In other case, when your target is actually a bait, after
Kaiten, hit twice then run to any bushes you like. It's not
Taka being a 'pew sea' or something, but it considered as a strategy (for me.. haha!).
- After you hide for a while, wait for any target appeared, use
Kaiten to one of them, then run again.
- It will make your enemy busy for a while.
- Congratulations, you just waste their time chasing you, while one of your teammates (maybe) already collect some golds.
note: If it failed, maybe you need to learn to "juke" first.
====
- When
X-Retsu is available, use it to start a WAR instead of
Kaiten. Safe your Kaiten/Reflex Block to avoid some unexpected skills.
====
- When you are noticed & targeted by enemies in a WAR, use this step:
1. Find your softest enemies.
2. Nuke him by using X-Retsu + Kaiten on him, then flee.
3. Protect yourself by using Reflex Block or other items while fleeing.
4. Let your teammates do their work.
5. It will make your enemies a bit focused on you rather than your teammates.
6. If your enemy not focused on you, you'll probably get some kill.
====
In high tier ranked match, Taka will aaaalwaaaays banned.
If you feel lucky enough to be able to pick
Taka in high tier ranked match, be careful, enemy will always buy
Scout Trap,
Flare, or
Flare Gun. Even worse, all of them might have it in order to get you killed.
Remember, you play against a human, not a bot. It's about how you "counter" their minds, so play it smart!
If you met this scenario, and you can't do sheet, do this:
1. Stop completing your core item, safe some golds, buy
Contraption.
2. It's not just for 'safety' or 'dewarding' things. It also give you cooldown decrease, and regeneration.
3. Wait for a WAR instead of Starting a War. Beg your teammates to make 2 enemy's hero busy.
4. Look at scoreboard, check their armor. If they're already building Anti-Cryst...al items, change your build to WP, vice versa. Don't hesitate to change build.
5. Of course, don't forget to buy defensive items.
6. Good luck for the tryhard! haha!
It may sound silly/stupid, but when it works, it doesn't.
1.
Double Sprint = Using
Sprint Boots when you already have another fully upgraded boots.
It's cheap. You can easily buy it in mid-game. Sell it with no mercy if you need slot.
2.
Triple Block = Using
Reflex Block when you already have
Kaiten+
Aegis/
Crucible.
It's 700 gold. Worth to buy if all of your enemy have stun skills.
3.
Free Heal = Using
Ironguard Contract when you already have
Kaku.
It can sustain your lifespan while roaming. Seriously. :v
I realized that i'm not good enough when it comes to Taka, need much improvement. :)
Because I know there's some Asian kid who could beat the sheet out of my Taka. :(
In the end, it's about how you conditionally survive & conditionally fight.
Cheers!
