If u can't get any good thing from this guide it means ur playstyle doesn't suit the build she and tactics shown in this guide. If u not good at
Krul or u don't know how to build him u have come to the right place. Now SCROOOOOOOOOOOOLL down.
Krul is an unstoppable death machine...in the right iPad owner's hands Top
Krul is the guy u don't want to solo. If ur brain is smaller than a pea or if u r just a noob u would try to one v one him late game.
Krul is extremely vulnerable to kiters (this is not 1v1), so watch out if they try to kite u and avoid it. If u use
Krul and ur good at him everyone will avoid u (maybe even ur allies). Just Ensure u don't get invaded early game. If u hate enemy
Glaives or
Joules than pick this crippled dude and make them wish they never played the game.
Hero name:
Krul
Role: Warrior (Jungler)
Attack type: melee
Strengths: Extremly high sustainability
Weaknesses: lack of range leading to being kited, prone to stuns and bursts
Current position: Best 1v1 duelist
Krul, the zombie-pirate who should be avoided Top
Here's something for u:
If you're
Krul, u can one v one
Just build up stacks and Smite them and you'll be done
Cause Krul is the one v one master
Everyone who tries to solo u will need a kabillion plasters
Sorry that one didn't really rhyme
But
Krul is the one who can beat that
Reim
YEA!!!
Okay, so u r the one v one legend, and everyone should avoid u right? However, in early game, those like
Rona or
Koshka or
Ozo can solo u, so beware. Try to get a tornado trigger before trying to solo these heroes. U r best at lvl 9+, or when u get that second TT. I've literally made a
Glaive hit me with Afterburn then sprinting away when I walked past him.
Abilities Top
Krul's abilities are very important. By knowing their potential, u have already won half the battle (especially the Smite).
Shadows Empower Me (Heroic Perk): When
Krul stands still in brush for 1.5 seconds, he gains bonus 2 move speed for 3 seconds and his next basic Attack will apply a brief slow to the target. This ability helps u to chase or surprise Attack.
Dead Man's Rush (A):
Krul dashes to the enemy, deals damage, and applies basic Attack effects. Does WP damage unless u build CP. Using this ability also grants
Krul a temporary health barrier.
Spectral Smite (B): Passively,
Krul's basic attacks grant weakness stacks on the enemy (max 8), reducing their damage by 6.2% and increasing
Krul's lifesteal against them. Activating this ability smites the enemy, dealing damage and healing
Krul based on the number of stacks already on the target. Consumes all stacks on activation. Use the Smite to execute enemies and THIS is what makes
Krul the 1v1 master.
From Hell's Heart (Ult):
Krul hurls Hellrazor in the targeted direction, damaging and stunning the first hero it hits, slowing that hero after the stun is over. After reaching max range, the sword boomerangs back to
Krul. Stun duration depends on how far the sword has traveled before hitting the target. Use to chase fleeing enemies, cancel ults or engage with kiters or slippery enemies.
Item explanation Top
I have tested this build for a lot of PvP matches I have played with
Krul, and this build was proved to be the dominator build. It made Krul able to one v one anything, even the Kraken and even a TURRET (really, not kidding!). So the words u r about to see below are the reasons why this build can make
Krul the ultimate duelist.
The two TTs make
Krul build stacks EXTREMELY fast. The breaking point makes ur basic Attack damage higher, making ur lifesteal higher as well. The sorrowblade is for a higher base WP so that breaking point will be more effective. The boot is for, well... chasing or running and the final item is situational.
Finally, I know some
Krul players use Bonesaw, but when I played this build against a bonesaw build
Krul I won.
If u don't understand just ask me in the comments.
Ability tactics Top
And then when u slam that
Koshka with ur sword when she was about to use her ult on u, all her allies begin raging on u. Then u kill all of them and watch them plummet into the ground pathetically and u begin to have a red aura on u. >:D
Dead Man's Rush: Don't give a damn when u use this ability on ur enemy. When ur enemy starts retreating or when u r under pressure, press the creepy hand and ur health barrier and the movement will serve u well. Also, if ur captain put mines around, slap this ability on a jungle monster and then chase that fleeing coward.
Spectral Smite: This is the executing move. Only Smite when Mr. Enemy is definitely going to die from this move or if that blue bar is starting to shrink on ur iPad (don't Smite when the bar is completely gone cause u will be too un-undead to do it).
From Hell's Heart: Throw it when u r chasing. Also, to stun a guy Long enough for u to finish him off without losing any HP, throw ur sword not directly at the hero, but in between his escape path and himself. Then, use dead man rush to get to the enemy so ur sword will hit.
With all this tactics, u will make the enemy break their iPad in half.
Teamwork!!! Top
Heroes great with
Krul:
1. KoshKrul (
Koshka and
Krul): Is that
Gwen getting away from u? Or is that
Skye trying to kite u and succeeding? Well, then have ur
Koshka jump in and stun the guy so u can kill him.
2. FlicKrul (
Flicker and
Krul:
Flicker can seriously slow the enemy so u can easily catch them.
3.
Phinn and
Krul: If the enemy(s) runs,
Phinn can pull them back then stun me there for u.
4.
Blackfeather and
Krul:
Blackfeather can slow enemies with On Point for u.
Dos and Don'ts Top
Some things to do to make ur enemy rage quit and Don'ts that make ur enemy love and honor u for feeding them.
Dos:
1. Smite the enemy only if u r about to die or the enemy is about to die.
2. Throw ur sword at the enemy if he tries to kite u.
3. UNLEASH the Kraken!!!
4. Ensure u always sneak Attack the laner (cause most of me can kite u)
5. Play safe in early game.
6. Only turret dive on the carry if they have full weakness stacks and u have Spectral Smite ready.
7. If u don't have a captain, take the front line.
Don'ts (unless u want to be honored by the enemy but dishonored by ur allies and possibly be banned)
1. Never Smite an enemy with no stacks (I've seen players do that, and they suck)
2. Never turret dive on the jungler (most junglers have abilities that move them away from u or create a distance between him and u. The only jungler without such abilities is
Reim, but he can sustain himself via fortified health).
3. Don't get tricked by that
Samuel or whatever hero to be kited.
4. Never invade enemy jungle early game.
In battle as, with or against Krul... Top
When playing...
As
Krul, play safe early and go head on late game. Don't get kited and Ensure u maximise 8 weakness stacks on the enemy until the Smite is guaranteed to kill.
As an ally to
Krul...
As the carry, help
Krul stop those kiters from killing him and teach them a lesson on trying to kill ur mates.
As the second jungler, help
Krul chase fleeing foes and kill those pressuring him. If u r an early game jungler, u r his Guardian in the early game.
As the captain, do anything at ur hand to get
Krul to his enemy. Stun, slow, anything like that.
Against
Krul...
As the carry, never fight
Krul head on. Try to kite him and don't let him touch u. Utilise a reflex block to block the stun.
As the jungler, KILL
Krul early if u r an early game jungler, and try not to tackle
Krul head on alone, or u will die.
As the captain, STUN, SLOW, DO ANYTHING TO STOP HIM!!!
Krul trivia Top
1. If
Krul dies while his sword is airborne, the death animation will not show the sword until it returns to him.
2. Using ur ult enlarges the sword.
3. A
Krul can build stacks onto an enemy
Krul's current stacks! (for example, if the enemy
Krul has built 5 stacks on a neutral jungle Monster, if ur team's
Krul comes in and attacks the same jungle Monster, the weakness stacks become six instead!)
4.
Krul's sword is stuck through his chest.
5.
Krul is the only undead character.
Conclude this Top
Krul is great. Use him. Don't say that u can't even use
Krul. If u know how to use him he is totally OP. Great for people who rely more on sustainability than on timing and aiming.
