I personally do not like to build the more obvious items like
Aftershock and
Broken Myth because
the whole point of CP Taka is pure burst damage. It's not about shield pierce or lifesteal.
The worst items to build on CP Taka are items like
Alternating Current and
Eve of Harvest. I believe those items are the worst because they have little to no benefit on CP Taka. You don't need attack speed or lifesteal.
The more CP damage you have on Taka, the harder you will hit. This is why CP Taka is all about burst and he does not need attack speed/lifesteal/armor pierce. Yes, the attack speed may help you clear the jungle quicker early game, but it will not get you anywhere in battles. Much like Koshka, CP Taka is meant to get out of battle only to rush back in.
Taka's mortal wound on his
X-Retsu is incredibly important to finishing off kills because even though you may not realize it, his mortal wound drains the affected enemy's health for 3 seconds, which is enough time for a low health enemy to die. However, it does depend on how low the enemy's health is and how much CP damage you have. This is the reason why if I ever play CP Taka and you see me leave an enemy with very low health who is also bleeding. This also applies to jungle minions, so you can leave them to die when you have your mortal wound up. It slices, it dices, it cuts through tin cans!
