Joule Super Saiyan Crit Build Top

This build is for version 1.4 patch.

NOTES
(for those comparing CP vs WP Joule) For CP Joule you're going to want to build out to max her Big Red Button. With x3 Shatterglass she can do 416 damage per hit, but most people don't stay in the beam for all three hits, so assume you get two and that's 832 damage. Of course her cool down on her ult is quite high. In our tests we also noticed no difference of hitting Joule from behind or the front. The damage remained the same.

For WP Joule, in our tests we also were able to successfully solo a 25 minute Kraken with three crit Thunderstrikes, 1 rocket leap, and a couple of basic attacks.

In short our test conclusion was that Joule as a WP build was far more effective. Even though her ult doesn't do the team melt type damage it can still be used to finish off enemies running away with low health. The primary focus of our build is to make sure she hits super hard in team battles. By maxing out her Thunderstrike and her Rocket Leap you have a deadly combo of Leap jump+stun. The probability of landing the Rocket Leap has gone up drastically due to the changes in speed deployment.

What you're going to want to do is start out with Book of Eulogies. This will ensure you rarely have to ever go back to base and can stay in the lane. Then you're going to want to start building up your Sorrowblade and Tyrants. I recommend building your Sorrow up until Heavy Steel and then finishing your Tyrants. A Heavy Steel + 1 Tyrants can already crit for 400-500 damage per Thunderstrike having this in early mid-game makes you dominate damage in team fights. Because of this you're going to need to grab boots and a Reflex Block because enemies will start to focus/stun you. Make sure to keep vision in your lane bush either scout traps or flares at all times.

Finish the Sorrowblade and get started on your 2nd Tyrants. Grab a tier 2 boots somewhere in there and finish your 2nd Tyrants.

Your build should look like this now around Mid-Game: Travel Boots, Reflex Block, Sorrowblade, Tyrant, Tyrant, Book of Eulogies. I try to keep the Book as long as possible because if you're ever low on health you can just go back to lane and get it all back.

Finally you should finish off your 3rd Tyrants Monocle and your Aegis. Getting the Journey Boots is just the icing on the cake.

GAMEPLAY
Teaming up with Joule, Ardan, Kosh is the best team. With Ardan you're no longer afraid of trying to Gauntlet and isolate 1 person to focus on. The more bunched up they are the better because one Thunderstrike with 3x Monocle means 1200 damage to EACH hero. If they run 1 Metal Jacket the damage only dips to 1050 damage.
