I forgot to mention using scout traps!! Grab your ironguard contract, a couple potions, and then the scout trap. Totally agree with @aadams, seeing the name of who is pinging, such as how 'OMW' does it, would be nice. It might even deter some players from 'AVOID' pinging others repeatedly because you would no longer be anonymous. More communication is really key in higher tier matches, some people just work well together without tons of communication, most don't. True. You will need to assess each situation on its own merits. Hopefully if you find yourself in a situation like that, one of your melee allies will pick up an Atlas Pauldron so you can focus something else.

@fugu_face is right. Passive abilities do not stack. For example, frostburn's slowing effect will only work for one if you're double stacking the item. BUT: All the added energy regen, max energy, and crystal power do stack. Also, items like shiversteel that have an active ability will stack. With two Shiversteels you'll have +1200 health and can use its active twice in a row (although it won't slow the enemy down by 80% if you use both at the same time).
