The easiest thing you can do is use a sharpie and write each item on your finger Or you can take a sticky note and write all the items there I just memorize it in my head

You can't really stop them from not surrendering but you can do it to stop playing with people who spam the surrender button. Play with a duo partner or a flex team so you won't need to surrender.
