So i tried this build. Some people give it hate since the build chooses breaking point over sorrow blade and tyrant monicle. But this is an amazing build. Mid-game black feather becomes a monster. Late game he is even better. I was 12 kills 1 death by mid game and was killing off entire team which had koshka, black feather, and lance. The defense is super useful. All you need to do is know how to use black feather and this build will dominate. Huge thunbs up. Thanks
Perhaps the build can be altered then, in your opinion, from getting the bonesaw first then the breaking point, to getting the breaking point first and then the bonesaw. It's all opinion.
I usually build Shatterglass into Alternating Current. Since A & C go for basic attacks, Alternating current can do some major damage when queing C and having multiple Shatterglasses. Weapon power is cool, but typically, no one lets you stay in long enough to land multiple barrages. You typically need to be out of there by the third second. The best combo is B into A, Basic Attack, Rose Offensive, done. With CP build you can typically kill your opponent and survive in this manner.
Be annoying if you see all enemies going WP and build 2 armor which is metal jacket and atlas pauldron xD. SAW might rage a lot, also when Baron comes out because he has the highest range
Petal now has 3 separate charges for her ult now so you can't just ult out of it bc that will be a waste of your charges. Also, if Lyra is going CP, just focus her and burst her down but watch out for her B and AA bc she can do so much damage with that and the slow but if you stay on the rose trail, she can't slow you.
Phinn and ardan can provide shields for black feather letting him stay in battle a bit longer. They also help him escape which is perfect because you can then surprise attack almost every time.
Phinn can give BF the extra defense he needs and stun/pull the back and is a great tank. Ardan gives him barrier, speed buff, and slows enemies and can trap them in his gauntlet.
Please check the builds again.. I put 5 items in each build, then a 'Situational Defence' section, so you choose at what time to build defence and which defence item to build. Please don't jump to conclusions, and maybe check before you type stuff like this.
I personally think playing without defence on most characters is a bad idea - while you might do a load of damage, the enemy team just targets you and bam, you're gone.
Blackfeather isn't like one of those heroes can can go on with 1 defensive item. He is a melee hero and is going to be in the middle of everything. He will probably need at least 2 defensive items to counter them unless the enemy builds no defense either.
I agree with you - since the I last changed things up on this guide/updated it, I started using two defence items (occasionally one with a Shiversteel). I just don't update it enough ;(.
Yo this aint updated. You need a bonesaw to shred armor in fights, you can clearly see how you could get many kills with it. Then eople would be more scared of you and they would build armor against you. Then you would get a breaking point. I reccomend a serpents mask bonesaw and tyrants monocle( for the offensive items.)I dont mean to hate on this. And also a bonesaw works extremely well with a breaking point because when you shred their armor, you could get more damdge on them so you would have plenty of stacks in no time.
Hey, i used to overdrive my B a lot more because it helps you to slow the enemies with a lot of range. And i sometimes buy a Bonesaw for Blackfeather because i think it pierce the armor by 7% to everything.(usually in ranked)
Yup, like I've said to other comments and as I always say, it's personal choice. Someone already suggested maxing A and B instead of A and C which I said is a good idea and I'll edit that into it now. I did include the Bonesaw as an optional item, because the idea of this guide is that you experiment and find what works for you. There's no set path :).
Edit: believe it or not, I did edit the skill path but it hasn't changed (yes, I did publish it too..). Maybe it needs time to update, I don't know how it works but if it doesn't change I don't know. Right now, it shows to upgrade the A ability 6 times..? Anyway. Sorry for the inconvenience.
Edit 2: The edit finally worked! I suppose editing it from a phone doesn't work, but unfortunately a phone was all I had access to at the time.
It's ok man. I rarely maxing out A or B so im just gonna combine them instead. Works against tanky roamers. Stuts does too. Especially Phinn going for CP or Utilities, because his A is useless when stutting.
Love how you make the guide tho. Needs some infusions for it to take advantage. :)
