Tips on using this build Top
This build is not for beginners. You must know how to use Reflex Block well and you must know how other heroes work. Follow instructions on build path.
Mechanics Top
Dead Man's Rush
Use this ability as a gap closer. You can also use this ability as a barrier if you are on low health. You can also use this ability to dodge attacks.
Spectral Smite
Use this ability to finish off an enemy. You must play Krul enough to get to know how many stacks it takes to kill an enemy. Make sure you smite early on heroes that can block that smite with an ability such as LV6 BlackFeather, Catherine, and Taka.
From Hell's Heart
This is the stun with the longest range in the game. You just need this ability for the stun. Throw it as a super gap closer, or if needed, to cancel an enemy's ability. You can also snipe enemies with this sword, if they are super low on health. Practice your sword throw skills with a friend.
Heroic Perk
You get a speed boost whenever you stay still in a bush for 1.5 seconds. Use that 3 second slow early game, and use the speed boost to engage. This perk is very useful in Krul's kit. Use this perk to gank.
Sword Trick Top
If you see the enemy does not have a reflex block, perform a boomarang throw. Here are the exact steps on how to perform a boomarang throw, resulting in the maximum stun and damage.
Locate your target, and identify the obstacles (other enemy heroes which may block the sword). Try to have your perk ready, if possible.
Throw the sword in a way such that it goes PAST all three heroes. Do this strategically, so that no enemies can block this throw easily (You need practice for this). Make sure the target is between you and the thrown sword at this point.
Here is where your perk comes in, if it is available. Maneuver your position so the sword will fly to the target on the return path. Slow the target. Use reflex block to block potential stuns.
Get successful.
Turret Diving Top
Attack an enemy in range of their turret if and only if:
-The enemy is isolated and helpless (No means of escape), and you have a descent anount of health
-The enemy is isolated, while you have a descent amount of health and a Reflex Block + Boots OR Perk available.
-There are two enemies, and you have a teammate to back you up. The enemies are weaker than you.
-There are two enemies, and you have a significant advantage over your enemies.
-The enemy is extremely low on health, and in medium proximity.
Item choices Top
Why did I choose the items that I chose?
-Sorrowblade provides fundamental WP damage.
-Bonesaw breaks through armor and provides you attack speed. If the enemy is not building armor, go with a Tornado Trigger instead.
-Aegis reduces ability damage and has Reflex Block. Very useful. If the enemy does not have ability items, get a Crucible instead of Aegis
-Atlas Pauldron reduces WP damage and slows down enemy attack. If the enemy deals WP damage but is not that much affected by Atlas Pauldron (such as Joule or any other hero who has a good weapon scale on abilities), get a Metal Jacket instead.
-Journey Boots provide you with movement speed that will help you rotate faster. Its active is useful in escaping and gap closing.
-Shiversteel helps you slow down enemies to make stacking easier.
-Infusions help you increase the chances of winning and reduces the chances of the enemies making a comeback.
