Personally, I find it helpful to build the items in a particular order. Building my items in this order for the first shop visits: Ironguard, Sprint Boots, Energy Battery, Stormguard (off the ironguard), Fountain of Renewal, Clockwork (off the energy battery), tier 2 boots, Shiversteel (or whatever you choose), Breaking Point, and finally finishing boots and Warhorn (or Contraption).

I usually find that building in this order benefits me the most.

Support Krul? Top

Yes, support Krul. It isn't as bad as you might initially think... Most people who play Krul these days build him as support or a tank, so why not build all the tankiness/support earlier and get your breaking point last?
