Picking between
Alternating Current and
Bonesaw is relatively simple
Alternating current should be your default choice, as it opens up a good path for your 6th item to be crystal, and helps you deal extra damage while building up those stacks.
The only time you should pick Bonesaw over AC, would be if your opponents are building lots of armor, and/or you want a more defensive 6th Item.
When it comes to picking your final item to complete your build, you have to remember what you extended your blazing salvo into.
If you chose to build an
Alternating Current, then the choice is clear; build a
Broken Myth. This helps you do a ton of extra crystal damage and works well with
Aftershock and AC.
If you chose to build a
Bonesaw, you will have some more thinking to do.
If you are facing an opponent carry like
SAW,
Krul, (attack speed)
Ringo, or another carry who is relying on attack speed, you will want to pick up an
Atlas Pauldron. This item lets you diminish their damage output and protects you against any damage they might do.
If the enemy team is relying on mostly Crystal Power, pick up an
Aegis to defend against their attacks.
If you are finding it difficult to stick to your opponents, grab a
Shiversteel. This works well with your
Spectral Smite and comes with some extra health.
If your opponents are struggling to do much damage to you as it is, then consider a
Sorrowblade, to get that extra damage in while building stacks on your enemies.
