This build is inspired from a Taka on my team who took the enemy team to pound town with just two offensive items :0 (they'll make up the core items.)
What can I say, this build is bursty, fairs well in the jungle, and is fairly decent at taking on other assassins. In truth the only thing to fear are carries, as a good SAW will lay down the law anytime you're teammates aren't there to back you up. Ultimately, I feel discretion is an assassins best tool; so while I personally like to pick up an Ironguard Contract to fundraise, you don't necessarily need it.
Sometimes the difference between your team and your opponents in an intense, competitive match boils down to who was able to build (and counter-build) appropriately. The final build fits my personal preferences (Sorrowblade and Shatterglass make the build while Monocle beefs up your crust and Clockwork recharges X-Retsu like crazy,) but generally I buil with my opponents in mind.
If the enemy team doesn't seem to care about defense, and there isn't a single Aegis or Jacket in sight, You might want to replace that monocle with another Sorrowblade as well as opting for another Shatterglass over Clockwork. If the enemy team is full of Metal Jackets, help your mates out by taking a Bonesaw over a monocle, as shred damage allows your whole team to do bonus damage against a target. If there's a really skilled carry who's only means of defense is an Aegis--you know what, you guys are all smart people, I'm sure you get the point and will come up with some great situational builds yourselves.
